Long Time No See (Headmaster Kaien Cross x Reader)

If Only You Knew

You walked into the classroom and said,

"Hello class, I'm your new teacher Professor (Last Name). But you may call me (First Name) if you so prefer." Many of the students in the day class murmured. However, the students in the night class knew what you were and respected you.

"Kaname Kuran. It's good to see you again. Apologies about your parents." You said, bowing your head to him. He looked at you and said,

"(First Name) (Last Name). It's good to see you again as well." Without another word you began class. When class ended Kaname came up to you and said,

"(Your Name). You love the Headmaster. Do you not?" You stopped packing your things and looked up at him.

"Does he know.....what you are?" Kaname said, tilting his head. You sighed and said,

"No he does not. And I do not intend to tell him." Kaname smirked and said,

"Very well, but you know you cannot be with him. You are a pure blood vampire....he is human. It is forbidden." You slammed your hands down on your desk and said,

"Do you think that I do not know that?!? I'm well aware of the rules the senate has in place!" A tear rolled down your cheek and Kaname's expression showed one full of shock. You walked to Kaien's home and sat on the couch. You buried your face in your hands and started to cry. You heard the door open.

"(Your Name)? What's wrong?" You heard Kaien say as he wrapped his arms around you, trying to comfort you. You cried into his chest and said

"It's just been a long day Kaien." He stroked your hair and said

"I know. The first day is normally the hardest." You looked up at him and said

"If only you knew......how I truly felt." His eyes widened at your words and he held your chin between his thumb and pointer finger. He placed his other hand on the back of your neck and brought your face closer to his, saying

"Then show me." You blushed as he placed a gentle kiss on your lips. Kaien was shocked when you kissed him back. He deepened the kiss. You felt his tongue glide across your bottom lip, asking for entrance, and you didn't deny him. He fought for dominance with you and you won. He began to kiss your neck and you gasped. As he did this you looked at his neck and brought your face closer to his neck. You began to lick his neck and you felt him shudder. Your eyes were glowing red and your fangs were out. You stopped yourself as you almost bit him. You pulled yourself away from him and said

"We can't. I want to. I love you and I want to, but I can't." Kaien was so confused and he said

"Why not?" You hugged yourself slightly and said

"Because I don't want to hurt you." As you walked away Kaien frowned and said

"(Your Name) please. I love you." Your gaze stayed on the ground as you said

"I know you may never understand the reason I'm doing this, but it's for your own good."
