Three purple wounds across the waves
Slashing the clouds that darkened the sky
Slither through shadows, millions of tiny dots of lights
From a bygone world she once paced
We walk on her traces now
Within the rumbles of thunder
And the quiet of gray clouds after it rained
We kept her alive in vain
This quivering flame
Only now just seen between the flash of a beacon light
Lost at sea
And the violet sun beyond
At last free.
