You had your head in the V
The window slightly opened behind the white drawn
Over the song of birds chirping in the cherry blossoms
Was the sound of silence
It was yours
And for a minute I thought it was mine too.
Salt streams were pooling next to your left foot
And I swear we laughed for you
When the music would never come to a halt
Until the CD stopped
Oh, we never stopped laughing.
I remember you had your head in the V
And behind the curtain you saw me
Even if it was blurry
You reached forward to something soon to be found
But it was already gone
And I was already none:
A crumbled castle of bones
In the saddest shade of tones
And since the beginning you waited behind me
I just never turned around.
