POV : Everest

Today was Monday, it has been a month since Vissarion been here in Colorado

We been spending a lot of time together and got even closer I love it

We went on a lot of dates, went see a lot of movies that have came out, and shopping sprees bought him clothes, shoes, and we even got each matching lockets

I have learned more about him than I have learned when we were long distance

I learned that he like to eat, go to the gym, he loves animals, his favorite color is black, he has 3 sisters and 2 brothers, he comes from a big family, and they are really rich. I also learned that one of his favorite food that he ate back in Russia where these dumplings called Beef pelmeni and I learned the recipe online so I told Vissarion that I would be right back that I was going to the store since I didn't have all the ingredients, but imma surprise him with it I hope I make it just right

He called his driver to take me since I didn't have a car right now

I grabbed a basket and walked into whole foods, people where every where with their basket full to the top

I took out my grocery list that I had so I wouldn't forget anything

First I needed ground beef so I headed to the meat section, it wasn't crowded by the meat section so I could grab it and go, I walked up to the beef and looked around, I grabbed a log that would lasted us until I go grocery shopping again

As I checked that off my list next was flour to make the dough so I headed to the baking Isle

I turned my basket but looked to make sure no one was coming so I didn't hit them

I grabbed the flour and checked that off

So next was the seasonings

I already had the onions and the garlic

So I went to that isle, but as I was walking out the baking Isle I hit a basket

I looked up and it was Malachi mom with Malachi behind her

"Oh my I'm so sorry, I wasn't paying attention" I say apologetic

"Oh Everest dear It's okay you don't have to apologize, I wasn't looking where I was going so it's my fault " she gave a small

I small back still wanting to stay sorry

"How have you been Everest it's been a long time since I heard Malachi here talk about you" she folded her arms together

A small laugh came out

"I'm fine Mrs. Montgomery how have you been? It's been a long time since I seen you since I was working at that café"

"I've been fine dear, I recently just met this very handsome man and lord he is fine, he makes me happy and also spoils my little ones including Malachi here. They love him." She said happily

"He is alright ig" Malachi grumbled not looking at me

I frowned

Ms. Montgomery noticed

"How about I go get what I need and you and Malachi here talk huh?" She walked off fast not giving me or him a chance to say if that would be alright

We stood in front of each other in silenced not a peep came from both of us. Malachi just looked at the ground with his hands in his pockets

He had been ignoring for the past month since Vissarion came, he changed his schedule and he stop talking to his friends

"How have you been?" He didn't answer but started walking away from me and after his mom

I followed after him but his mom was no where to be seen

"Malachi! Please just talk to me" I desperately said

" Why Everest, why can't you give it a damn rest and leave me the fuck alone. I have, I left you alone like you been wanted right? Nobody has been bothering you so why can't you give a rest" he spat out in a harsh tone but a low whisper

"Why do you care so much if I'm okay, all I did was bully you Everest " his eyes was still to the ground I could hear he choked when he said my name

"I-I'm sorry Malachi, I just want to know if your okay" I stutterd

He looked up at me and sighed and walked away

My heart broken, he didn't even tell me if he was okay

I just want to know what I did so wrong to make him so upset with me, I just wanted to know..
