"Seokmin you know how important today is and i dont want any sort of mistake, do you understand?" My father said turning to me as i fixed my tie.
"I know father, nothing will go wrong i assure you" i assured him without looking at him.
Today i will be made the CEO of my dads company, my dad always wanted me to take the seat and make him proud and i will do just that today.
"Honey, they are waiting, lets hurry now!" My mother called out as she peaked in through the door.
"Lets go, i believe in you son" my father said as he pressed his hands on my shoulders turning me to him, i nodded.
I went out, the venue was just how my father likes, i walked towards the stage, every step making it hard to breathe.
'Its ok seokmin you'll be alright'
I whispered to myself.
I steped on the stage as everyones attention diverted to me
'You can do this' i said to myself once again.
"Welcome everyone, its an honor to have you all here at this event, and im grateful that you came here to support me and my family, many of you have worked with us while some haven't and i assure you that working with us will get you up the social chain, you might be thinking that it is such a big promise, yes it is and me Seokmin here as now the new CEO of the 'Worlds Company' will, make that promise into reality, i hope you think to work with us and support eachother through out this journey, thank you" i finished, the venue filled with claps as i bowed and got off the stage.
My father was waiting for me, he pulled me into a hug.
"I knew you could do it my son, and in the future i know you would do it" he said.
Some people might feel happy but that was not the case with me, because how successful i become ive already lost in my life.
Because i let him go.
