A/N: Hey everyone. Welcome to my new story about K/DA. So, this is a male reader insert story that has a healthy amount of angst and anger. I won't lie, there will be some strong words and dark themes. The reader's music is a mix of my favorite artists/bands: 90s grunge. I apologize if I do not do the K/DA women justice at first, it'll be my first time writing a story of this level for those characters. Also, the world will be our regular Earth will all the usual stuff. Vastaya will exist, and the world will have slightly magical qualities but other than that its business per usual. The backstory between you and the band will be explained through flashbacks. On with the story!

Name: Ahri (Gumiho/foxy/Mrs. Popularity contest)
Personality: Ahri is a kind, happy person who loves helping her band mates and making music.
Bio: Ahri met (Y/N) when they were kids, and the two grew through childhood together. Ahri began her music career with your support, but left home to make it as famous. After bailing on plans and reunions, as well as missing the funeral and lying to your face, you consider her dead to you. The girl you knew and cherished died a long time ago, and you have no further wish to see her unless its for revenge.

Name: Evelynn (the Diva/the Siren/Eve/Evie)
Personality: Often seen by the public as cold but sexy, Evelynn helped Ahri form K/DA. She is incredibly protective of her band mates, and hides a softer side from the public that she rarely lets out. She also loves fast cars, and is a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to the band's image.
Bio: Evelynn met you after Kai'sa left in high school. The two of you became friends (and a little something more) before she cheated and turned on you, and started your downward spiral. The few interactions since then have only cemented in your mind that she's a true demon, and only ever cared about herself. You haven't sought her out in a while, and are not looking forward to any further interactions.

Name: Kai'sa (Bokkie)
Personality: Shy but incredibly sweet, Kai'sa is the dancer of the group and deals with the choreography. She is also an incredible cook but has a slight fear of crowds. Cares deeply for her band mates as they are the only family she has.
Bio: Kai'sa and you met really early on in middle school and hit it off, but she moved away due to her father's job. She eventually made it big on the dance competition scene before she was recruited by Ahri. You considered her a friend at first, but were saddened when she left (as was she). Due to the events with Evelynn and Ahri (along with some other stuff on her end), you don't remember her much at all, and she largely has forgotten that point in her childhood.

Name: Akali (Kali/Rogue)
Personality: Akali is a spitfire who enjoy rapping, making beats, graffiti, and training. She can be lazy, however, and thoroughly enjoys ramen and video games. She is also quick to defend her bandmates as her sisters, and looks more for the good in people than the bad.
Bio: She made it famous in the underground rap scene you frequented on occasion before getting signed to K/DA by Evelynn. When she went back to the studio to help out with her friends from True Damage, she overheard them talking to Pentakill about an up and comer they heard with a new sound (you). She has yet to see or meet you, but she knows bits of Ahri and Eve's backstories so she might recognize you... or she might not.

Name: (Y/N) (Y/L/N) (A/N: This is how I would imagine Y/N looks, but it may change throughout the story and if you feel more comfortable imagining him as how you look, that's up to you out there in the audience.)
Personality: You used to be a very relaxed guy who enjoyed playing music and hanging with friends. Now, however, depression and bitterness have begun to consume you. Your music sells and hits hard, but is lyrically telling of the pain you feel inside. You're quiet most of the time, and do not talk to people unless it's necessary. The only peace of mind you get is when you're expressing yourself through lyrics, music, or poetry and when you're playing instruments (you know the drums and the guitar, as well as some production skill).
Bio: After being orphaned right out of high school, you struck out on your own in the underground rock scene and started songwriting. You got discovered by your fans online and through the bar scene in your hometown of Seattle, and have been preparing several songs and an album for your debut solo act. However, the real thing you're preparing for is the eventual confrontation that you feel brewing on the horizon once your life becomes complicated.
