Chapter 9

"She thought she was the hottest thing on this earth," Emma laughed.

"Hey what was that word Minji would always say to girls?" Jin chuckled.

"It was Aein," Felix snickered,
"She would be like 'hey aein, let me take you out'."

"Haha okay that's enough of embarrassing Minji," Minji butted in.

Hanni had been woken up early in the morning by Minji for breakfast. Hanni was actually surprised how early Minji had woken her up but Minji explained to her that this is what time people got up in the estate. She also mentioned that Emma wanted her to be present for breakfast so that they could all get to know Hanni. Minji promised to let her sleep all day if necessary, just after breakfast.

Hanni was even more surprised when she saw that Minji shared the table with her employees. Hanni had been born in a rich lifestyle, and in this lifestyle she had never seen such thing. It's not that she had anything against it, they were actually really nice people.

The table consisted of Emma, Jin, Jungwon, Felix, Jihan and even Kazuha. She had just flown to California this morning.

"I want to know more," Hanni giggled.

"It was just a phase," Minji said embarrassed.

"Did your pick up lines work?"
Hanni asked.

"Yeah they did," Jihan muttered.

Hanni did not miss that comment.

Minji just chuckled,"It's varied, some girls liked it, some girls didn't."

"So Minji, I will to inform you that I cancelled all your meetings today just like you asked," Kazuha said,"There's a few things that need to be handled here at the estate but that's just involving the cattle, the new breed of horses, small things like that."

"Thanks Zuha," Minji smiled.

"So how did you and Hanni meet?"
Jungwon asked.

Hanni looked at Minji for a second.

"Did you guys fall in love at first sight?Or did you guys worked up to it? Who asked who out first?" Jungwon continued with a smile on his face.

Minji chuckled,"No it was not love at first sight, at least I don't think so.....I met Hanni when I was 11, Taehyung took me to her 7th birthday party."

"Wait, so Hanni is younger than you?"
Jihan frowned.

"Yes," Hanni answered.

Hanni did not miss the look Jihan gave Minji and the pointed look Minji gave Jihan. There was definitely something going on there.

"Minji asked me out first and completely fell in love with me," Hanni added as she looked at Jihan,
"She's very sweet and caring."

Okay so the last two things were true, so it wasn't complete lie.

"She just had this charm about her,"
Hanni continued, "I don't know how she did it but she stole my heart."

She heard Minji chuckled in the background.

"She never mentioned you. I never even heard your name come out of her mouth once," Jihan piped up,
"It does surprised me that Minji married someone like you. Rich girl were never her type."

"That doesn't surprise me," Hanni shrugged, "I don't see why Minji would discuss her love life with her employee."

Oh that was a low blow from Hanni, but what she didn't realize was that the comment didn't only effect Jihan but it also affected the rest of the people sitting down at the table.
