Chapter 20

By the time Minji go home it was late. Well it wasn't too late but since she married Hanni, she made it a habit to come before dinner. But after the glass she broke in her hand, she needed to go to the ER to get her hand fixed so after that she needed to catch up on work.

When she arrived home, she was surprised to find Hanni in the living room. She was watching TV, Minji didn't see Aiden anywhere, so she assumed he was in his room asleep.

"Hey Aein," Minji made herself present.

Hanni turned her head around and immediately smiled when she saw Minji.

"Hey I was waiting for you," Hanni said as she stood up from where she sat and made her way towards Minji.

"It was a long day," Minji said.

Hanni frowned when she saw Minji's hand, "What happened to your hand?"

Minji shook her hand and pursed her lips, "Picked up broken glass.....but don't worry, I got it checked out. I'll be okay."

"I'm glad," Hanni said as she wrapped her arms around Minji's neck.

"Where's Aiden? Asleep already?" Minji asked, even though she was fully aware of where he was.

"Sound sleep," Hanni said, "Are you sure you're okay?"

"Mhmm," Minji hummed, "What did you do today?"

Hanni swallowed as soon as she heard this question.

"Nothing," Hanni's voice cracked, "Nothing much."

Nothing much, yeah right

Hanni clutched onto her purse as she pushed her sunglasses closer to her face. She knew this was wrong but she knew her heart told her she needed this.

As she made to the restaurant, she quickly spotted Yeonjun in the back corner. She made her way towards the room until she reached him. Yeonjun wasted no time, as soon as he spotted her, he got up and wrapped his arms around her.

"I'm so happy you're here," Yeonjun smiled and gave Hanni a kiss.

Hanni however quickly pulled back,
"Don't do that!"

"Why not?" Yeonjun frowned.

"Yeonjun, I'm a married woman,"
Hanni glared.

"You're married to someone you didn't love!" Yeonjun said.

"But I still have to respect her," Hanni explained.

Yeonjun let out a defeated sigh,
"Please take a seat."

Hanni let out a frustrated sigh but took a seat and so did Yeonjun.

"So," Hanni began, "How are you?"

Yeonjun take a deep breath, "Better now that you're here."

And with that, he took her hands in his own.

"You know the company is struggling a little bit right now but it won't be long until we get back on our feet," Yeonjun said confidently, "We found this new company and they are willing to invest so much in us. It kind of surprised me you know, after the meeting I had with Minji today, I was pretty sure we're going to get a hard hit but they still seemed interested."

"That's good news," Hanni nodded,
"You said you saw Minji today?"

"Oh yeah, it was mostly about business," he said.
