Chapter 22

A WEEK LATER:

"Reservation for Kim Minji," Minji said.

The host immediately greeted Minji and let them through the restaurant to a more private area but still near the music. This restaurant was extremely fancy, it even had a dance floor. The music was live and not to mention classy. Everyone was wearing really fancy dresses or suit and tie.

Minji however out did herself with the dinner reservation. The seats they had, had an amazing view of the city. Minji had the best wine brought out, and to top it off the music was amazing.

"You look beautiful," Minji smiled,
"Have I mentioned that?"

Hanni giggled, "Yes you have, many times!"

Minji chuckled, "Well you are."

"Thank you but you know you don't look so bad yourself baby," Hanni said and give Minji a sexy wink.

Minji smiled so hard that her slight dimple was displayed.

Hanni reached over and caressed Minji's dimple, "I love this."

"Thank you love," Minji winked at her and then motioned the waiter over.

Hanni took a sip from her glass of wine when she felt her phone vibrate. She decided to check who it was, in case it was about Aiden. However all the happiness she felt at this moment disappeared and anxiety took over.

"I need to see you again, I need you."

Hanni's heart clenched and she quickly deleted the message and drown the rest of her wine. Luckily this went unnoticed by Minji, since the waiter she had called arrived with a black fancy folder. Minji thanked him as he left. She set her drink aside and placed the folder in front of her before making eye contact with Hanni.

"So there's actually something I want to ask you," Minji said.

"What is it?" Hanni asked, she couldn't help but feel nervous.

"I want us to adopt Aiden."

Hanni was speechless.

"You know, at first we both agreed that we would hold off on having children because we needed to work on our relationship," Minji began,
"But then Aiden came along and changed everything. He brought us together and believe it or not we became a family.....I want us to be a real family now."

"I don't know what to say," Hanni practically whispered.

Here Minji was offering her a chance to have a family, here Minji was practically giving her the world. And then there was Yeonjun, her first love.

Minji handed Hanni the folder in front of her. Hanni took it and scanned through it.

They were adoption papers.

"One of the perks of being rich is being able to pull a few strings," Minji said, "I'm trying to make us his parents as soon as possible."

What got to Hanni was the last page that declared her the mother of Aiden. And right then and there she knew what the answer would be.

"I love him Minji, and I want to be with him and I want to be with you! So yes let's be a family," Hanni gushed.

Minji let out a bright smile, her dimples once again was on display. Instead of saying anything on that, Minji stood up and extended her hand out to Hanni.

"Will you dance with me Mrs.Kim?"

"Of course."

Hanni closed the folder and took Minji's hand. She followed to the center of the dance floor where they were embraced each other and began to sway to music.

For months on end I've had my doubts

Hanni swallowed thick when she heard the lyrics to the song. Once again her happiness didn't last long, guilt began to consume her.

It was now that she knew, now she figured out that she wanted to be with Minji. She wanted to be with her forever, and even though she still had slight feelings for Yeonjun, the ones she had for Minji were stronger.

But she felt so guilty.

Yeonjun had kissed her two times and Minji didn't know about them. She wanted to tell her so bad but she was terrified on how she would react. But what was best was to forget about it, it did not good for telling Minji now.

Hanni had made her decision. She was done with Yeonjun and the secret meetings, she wasn't going to see him anymore. She was going to let him go and give him a chance to find someone who loved him back.

She chose Minji.

Hanni knew this was the most selfish thing she has done but for Minji, she didn't care. She would forget about the past and focus solely on her family. Perhaps this was wrong of her to do, but she didn't want to risk losing Minji.

"What was it you wanted to share with me?" Minji asked.

Hanni lifted her head from Minji's shoulder and looked her straight in the eyes.

"I think I'm inlove with you."

By lying and tearing us up

"I feel inlove with you," Hanni clarified, "And I know that our relationship has always been on the edge and that we're always fighting but I feel inlove with you."

Minji let out a smile and leaned into Hanni's ear.

"I've been inlove with you since you're seventh birthday," Minji whispered.

Hanni couldn't help but smile and wrap her arms around Minji's neck, holding her tight.
