Hanni rushed down the hallway frantically and as fast as she could. This was unbelievable! She could not believe Minji was doing this. She couldn't even enjoy the fact that Minji had woken up. She had just gotten out of the shower when Kazuha called to tell her that Minji had woken up and Hanni was over the moon with joy. But that only lasted a few seconds before Kazuha told her what Minji wanted to do.
When she reached Minji's hallway, Jin, Emma and Felix were standing outside of the room. And just as she reached them, Kazuha stepped out of the room.
"Is she in there?" Hanni asked.
Kazuha nodded, "She had me go buy her some clothes and I just dropped them off.....you really need to talk to her Hanni. She needs to be in the hospital for a few more days at the very least."
Hanni nodded.
She made her way past Kazuha and into the room. As she closed the door behind her, she realized no one was in the room. The bed was empty except for a black V-neck and a leather jacket. She figured those were the clothes Kazuha bought for Minji. She looked around the room and assumed Minji was in the bathroom. Hanni made her way over to the bed to inspect the clothes, they still had tags on them. It was so weird for Hanni to see the bed empty. She had practically lived here for the past few days up until Emma convinced her to go shower and Hanni's parents offered to take care of Aiden.
When she had told Yoongi and Mai about Minji, she honestly hadn't told them the whole truth. She didn't need her dad finding out about who Yeonjun really was. What they knew was that Minji was shot because the ex client wasn't satisfied with how the contract had been cut off. Which wasn't a total lie, it just wasn't the whole truth.
Hanni had cried for a very long time after all that happened. She hated Yeonjun, she couldn't believe he had done this. In all of the time they had been together, he had been sweet, kind, generous and compassionate. That's why Hanni fell in love with him in the first place, the man he become now was a completely different person. And she couldn't help but feel guilty because it was all her fault, it was because of her all of this happened.
After Minji blacked out, her heart literally stopped, she thought she had died and her whole world fell apart. It was then she realized that she never loved anyone the way she loved Minji.
Her thoughts were interrupted by the bathroom door opening, she turned around and she held her breath.
Minji walked out, she walked, she was standing and she was alive. She was in jeans and a sports bra, her abs were obvious but her left side was all bandaged up..... where she got shot.
"Hanni," Minji breathed.
Hanni's eyes filled up and her pout evident, she wasted not a second more. She walked towards Minji and wrapped her arms around her, she buried her face into Minji's neck and cried softly.
It took Minji a second but she also wrapped her arms around Hanni. Because even after everything she found out about and the events that had happened, having Hanni in her arms was still the best feeling in the world. She clenched her jaw hard, no tears were coming out of her today. She kissed the side of Hanni's head as she let go of her. Hanni kept her arms on Minji's shoulders, there were tears in her eyes.
"I'm so glad you're awake," Hanni said, "You had me worried."
Minji didn't comment, she just continued to stare at Hanni.
"You just had me really worried," Hanni said as tears flooded her face.
"I'm fine now," Minji said, "I'll be home in less than half an hour, so you can stop all the crying."
Hanni almost flinched at Minji's comment but decided to ignore it, there was a bigger problem to straighten out.
"What do you mean go home!?" Hanni exclaimed as she pulled away completely from Minji, "You can't go home! You were shot not even three days ago!"
"And who's fault was that!?" Minji snapped.
Hanni stared at Minji in shock, "Are you serious right now!?"
Minji let out a humorless chuckle and made her way past Hanni. She didn't say another word to her instead she proceeded to put on her shirt and leather jacket.
"I'm talking to you Minji," Hanni exclaimed.
"Yeah well I'm done talking to you."
"No!" Hanni began, "You wanted to start this and now we're gonna finish it! How can you blame me!?"
"How can I not?" Minji said with no emotions in her voice, "You think he would come in and shoot me after almost a year of you and me married? I'm not an idiot, and it was clearly your mistake taking me for one."
"What are you talking about?" Hanni frowned.
Minji shook her head and adjusted her jacket. She made her way towards the door.
"Minji, I'm talking to you! Stop ignoring me!" Hanni yelled, "And you are fucking insane if you think you are leaving this hospital."
"It is my choice to leave not yours," Minji warned.
"I'm your wife, I have a say in this!"
"And were you my wife when you were secretly meeting up with Yeonjun?" Minji raised an eyebrow.
Hanni was speechless.
"You don't get a say in this," Minji said, "I'm going home."
"Please," Hanni whispered.
"I would like to see my kid too."
"We're not okay are we?" Hanni dared to ask.
"We never were."
Hanni was trying so hard to hold it in but she began to sob.
Minji was breathing heavily, she couldn't stay in the room. She opened the door and made her way out.
However she came to a stop. Kazuha, Felix, Jin and Emma were standing there not knowing exactly what to do or say. They had obviously heard the whole argument.
"Can we just get this damn paper signed," Minji sighed.
"Minji," Emma began.
"Don't," Minji warned, "Seriously."
Emma let out a sigh.
"Zuha?" Minji began.
"The doctor is waiting for you."
