We arrived in US after a long, thirteen-hour flight. Luckily, Taki's airplane was exactly like the ones rich people use in movies. It had bedrooms, a proper bathroom and even a small bar outlet. My eyes widened slightly when I saw it. Taki drinks? I had to admit I was slightly surprised. However, I didn't care and simply went inside the bedroom to sleep.

"Were you surprised to see a bar in there?" Taki asked once we landed, making me turn to look at him. "Well, ya. I didn't know you drink." I said, making Taki chuckle. We reached the airport and I sighed. "Are you okay?" Taki asked me. "I'm okay. It's just... jet lag." I replied, although that wasn't the only reason. I was still worried for Yotsuha. Even if I knew Yotsuha would definitely be safe in Taki's mansion, given the security over there, I was still worried. Was it just a sisterly instinct, or was I feeling this jittery because this was the first time, I left her alone?

"I'm gonna go to the washroom." I said and went to the lady's washroom. I had just entered the washroom when I felt a hand grab mine. Feeling startled, I turned around to see Miki holding my hand. "Slut." She said, making me blink. "What?" I spoke. "You knew he was my fiancé, yet you seduced him and stole him from me. You slut." "Huh?" "Don't pretend like you don't know! You took my everything! But-" She suddenly leaned closer to me. "I'm not just gonna sit and watch. I'm gonna take him back before this trip is over."

"First of all, this isn't a trip-" I started but she screamed. "Shut up! He. Is. Mine!" She said and bumped into me on her way out. I scoffed in annoyance. "Then keep him. I never wanted him in the first place."

I sighed again and washed my face once to cool myself down. I looked at myself in the mirror, the water droplets sliding off my face. Some of the water even touched my hair, cooling me down even more. Suddenly, my eyes fell down on my ring and sighed. 'For Yotsuha.' I thought and nodded in determination.

I went outside and got inside the company bus with my luggage, ignoring Taki's car. The bus took us a few miles away until we reached a beachfront hotel that was near a forest. The area breathes of everything that isn't Tokyo, somewhat reminding me of my hometown, Itamori.

Tessie, Saya-chan and I dragged our luggage to the lobby and asked for our room numbers. When the receptionist saw me, her eyes bulged out of her sockets and stood up straight, looking frightened. "Good morning Mrs. Tachibana."

"WHAT!" I nearly screamed when I heard that roll off her mouth. The receptionist winced and looked at me, feeling baffled. "Is there something wrong Mrs. Tachibana?" "Yes, there is: stop calling me Mrs. Tachibana. I'm not his wife. And may I have my room number and the key please?"

I checked my room number and my friend's, but they were nowhere nearby. However, there was one more thing, my room key card was red, while the other employees from the design department have white ones.

My eyes narrowed for a second. Could this be Taki's doing? After all, it wasn't planned that I'd come here. Did he purposely buy me an expensive room? Suddenly, a strong smell of perfume wafted through the air, invading my nostrils. I spun around and saw Miki leaning against the receptionist's desk.

"You need to take this call." She smirked and handed over the phone to the receptionist, who took it with a confused look. However, she suddenly looked at me, her face pale with terror. She gave me one last guilty look and cut the call. What's going on?

"Hey," Saya-chan nudged my arm. "Did you see that?" She asked. "What's she up to?" Tessie said. "I don't know. But I don't think she has any good intentions." Saya-chan said, making Tessie scoff. "Good intentions? I doubt she even knows those words. She already slept with four employees from The Tachibana Industries."

My eyes widened in shock. "What? How can she get her man back if she keeps sleeping with other people?" "Do you really think she needs Taki? She needs his money, not him." Oh my god! To think I used to ship them before. I sighed and took my luggage to my room.

I washed my face one more time and went out for a stroll. As I did, I saw a man standing behind a palm tree with a camera in his hand. He was talking to someone, but I couldn't see exactly who it was. Curious, I tilted my upper body and saw a brown head - Miki talking to a man with a camera, or... my eyes widened. The paparazzi!

What is she doing with them? Although I felt curious, I realised it wasn't my business to meddle with. And so, I walked away. However, I couldn't help but feel something bad would happen.

That evening I sat with my friends for dinner. "I heard something interesting." Saya-chan said, making me and Tessie look at her. "What is it?" I asked. "Since Tachibana-san cannot fire Miki, he appointed her as Hodaka's PA." I choked on my food. "I can't believe we missed that." I said. "I know right"

After dinner was over, I took my key card and went searching for my room. The hotel staff even accompanied me, thinking I was a VIP since I had a red card, or maybe he recognised me from TV from the whole 'fiancée drama thing.' He told me that my room was next to Taki's, and my luggage was already brought in.

Well, I wasn't in the least bit surprised. I kind of expected my room to be next that Taki since he tends to do stupid stuff. I should definitely contact the mental hospital.

I slid the key card to my door and was about to open it when I saw Miki walking from the opposite direction, wearing a pink lingerie, her red heels clinking to the ground. I stood there, shocked for a moment, seeing her half-naked in front of me. However, I quickly hid behind a tall plant pot beside my door and watched curiously.

Miki casually slid a key card into Taki's door, opening it and then walked in. From behind, I saw the man with the camera following her, waiting till she gives some signal. The next second, she gestured for him to come in. He sneaked inside the room, and I could hear the sound of the shower coming from there.

Taki might be in the shower, without having any idea that Miki and the paparazzi had sneaked in his room. I wondered whether I should inform him, but then decided against it. It was none of my business.

I sighed and walked inside my room, shaking my head. Did I really make the right choice? I sighed again and turned on the lights, making a gasp escape my lips. Because sleeping on my bed, was Taki Tachibana.
