I smiled as I kept thinking about yesterday's day out with Taki. Could that be considered a date? Nevertheless, I was glad Taki brightened up by the end of the day. "What are you smiling about?" Saya-chan asked, snapping me back to reality. "N-nothing. Yotsuha made me a drawing yesterday, so I was happy about it." I said, feeling slightly guilty that I had to lie. "I see."

"Saya-chan, Tessie, shall we go out for lunch today?" I asked, making their eyes widen. "Hm. Can we eat tororo soba?" She asked brightly, making me giggle. "Sure." I spoke. Suddenly, my phone rang, making me look at the caller ID. "Who is it?" Tessie asked me. "I don't know. It's an unknown number." I spoke.

"Luckily our VP is not here right now. So why don't you take the call?" Saya-chan asked, making me nod and answer the phone. "Hello?" I spoke first. "HOW DARE YOU BLOCK MY NUMBER!" A loud, angry voice blasted from the other side, nearly making me deaf. I moved the phone away from my ear and groaned in frustration. "Speak! Young lady!" The other person shouted. "My goodness! I'm not deaf! Stop shouting father!"

Tessie and Saya-chan giggled while I gave them death glares. "Is this the way you talk to your father!" My father spoke through angrily. "Dad! I'm in the middle of work. If you only called me to scold me, then I'm afraid I'd have to cut the call right now." I said and was about to cut the call when that annoying voice spoke through the phone again.

"I'm not done yet young lady. I'm coming to Tokyo tomorrow evening at eight. You'd better be there to pick me up. Or else I'm going to take Yotsuha away with me." Saying so, my old man cut the call, making me stare at the phone in horror. "How dare he threaten me with Yotsuha! I swear I'm gonna give him a beating he'll never forget in his life tomorrow." I scolded while Tessie and Saya-chan forced themselves to suppress their laugh. I scoffed in annoyance and continued working on my design, not even bothering to look at them even once.

"Oh, by the way, did you tell your father about Tachibana-san?" Saya-chan asked, making me widen my eyes in horror. "No. I totally forgot!" I said as I held my forehead. "You're dead meat tomorrow Mitsuha." Tessie said. I gave out a fake cry before banging my head on the table.

"I'm surprised you came." My father said as he saw me at the arrivals gate. "If I didn't, you would've eaten my head and taken Yotsuha away." I replied in anger. "Serves you right. How dare you block my number." He said, making me scoff in annoyance. "Are these all-" "Good evening, sir." A deep, manly voice came from behind, stilling me in place, because I knew to whom it belonged to.

Taki strode forward towards us and smiled at my father before raising his hand for a handshake. "I'm Taki Tachibana, Mitsuha's fiancé." My father stared at Taki, his jaw dropping to the floor while I just stared at the two bombs in front of me.

"W-what did you-" "Ah, dad, Aren't you hungry? How about we eat something in a restaurant first?" I said, trying to break the awkward tension. "Ya, that's a good idea." Taki said as he took my father's luggage and went towards the car. My father's eyes widened when he saw the car.

"Dad..." I said softly, snapping him back to reality as he looked at me. "I'll deal with you later." He said as he walked to the car. I was a bit surprised he didn't lash out at me in

Taki drove us to a high-class restaurant, shocking my father. "Wait a second-" My father spoke up. "Don't worry Mr. Miyamizu. I will pay for the meal. You don't have to worry about the price." Taki said, making me grit my teeth.

We entered the restaurant and the receptionist's eyes nearly popped out of his sockets. "Good afternoon, sir. We didn't know you were coming. Please wait a few moments. We'll get you a table immediately." He said and he quickly called someone over the landline.

After talking on the phone for a while, the receptionists led us to a reserved room, stunning my father even more. "Young man," My father spoke up after we sat down, "what do you do for a living?" He asked. I'm doomed. Think fast Mitsuha!

"I'm-" Taki started but I cut through. "He's a simple office worker." I spoke. "Simple office worker?" My father said as he tilted his head. "I see. What does your father do?" He asked. "He was the-" Taki started again but I cut through again. "He used to be a simple office worker as well." I spoke. Taki turned towards me with a 'seriously' look while I grinned at him. "How can the son of a simple office worker, who is also an office worker afford a car like that and a meal over here?" He asked.

"Hard work pays off." I said cheerfully, and that's when my father snapped. "Mitsuha! Did I ask you?!" I'm doomed. Suddenly, the waiter came and bowed. "Good afternoon Mr. Tachibana. We're pleased to have you at our restaurant." "Tachibana?" My father whispered. I'm doomed.

"Why did you say pleased?" My father asked the waiter. "That's because Mr. Taki Tachibana is-" Don't say it! "The CEO of Tachibana Industries." I'm totally doomed now. "CEO of Tachibana Industries?" My father whispered while the waiter went away. "That's the company you work in, isn't it Mitsuha?!" My father asked, making me sigh.

"Mitsuha! You're dating your boss?!" My father exclaimed as he stared at me in horror. "How on earth can you not tell me such an important thing! Are you even my daughter?!" "I can do anything I want!" I'm so dead.

"Just like your mother and grandmother." He muttered making me glare at him angrily. Taki grinned lightly as he saw our conversation. 'Ugh! Men. Why are they so hard to be with?' I cursed in my mind.

I rolled my eyes. The waiter came over and filled our glasses with water before leaving. Feeling thirsty, I took my glass and started drinking. "By the way, do you both live together?" My father asked suddenly, making me choke on the water. I started coughing as I turned to the side.

"Mitsuha! Are you okay?" Taki asked as he gently patted my back, making me swat his hand away. My father, on the other hand was shocked speechless. "Mitsuha Miyamizu! How can you not tell me such an important thing!" He asked angrily. "Do you use protection?" My jaw dropped to the floor with the question I just heard. "What the hell! Father!"

"You young man!" My father said as he looked straight at Taki, exuding a deadly aura from him. "Break my daughter's heart, I wouldn't hesitate to break your neck. Understand?" He threatened Taki, making him nod. "Don't worry Mr. Miyamizu. I promise to treat Mitsuha like a queen."

Unable to bear the tension anymore, I excused myself and went to the washroom. Why the hell did the restaurant owner have to reveal that Taki is the owner of Tachibana Industries? Because I know, if he had just kept his mouth shut... my father would've snapped Taki's neck in a split second. That's the kind of person my father is.

I sighed. My plan to make my father hate him was also ruined. Of course, being the politician, he is... having Taki Tachibana, who is the owner of Tachibana Industries as his son-in-law would be beneficial in his career. That was the reason why he agreed to Taki being my fiancé.

After calming myself down, I went back to my table and started eating. "I think it's better to introduce your fiancé to your grandmother as well." My eyes widened before I smirked again. Surely grandma wouldn't want this Dracula as her grandson-in-law. After what happened between my parents, with my father abandoning the shrine duties after mother passed away, she would definitely not accept Taki, who knows nothing about the Miyamizu traditions.

Perfect. My grandmother also has to accept him. I laughed slightly before planning a horrible meeting between the two.
