8 years later:

Mitsuha POV:

"Ladies and gentlemen. May I now present our beautiful, young CEO of Lumine, Mrs. Mitsuha Tachibana." The crowd erupted in a loud cheer as I made my way up the stage. "Thank you, thank you." I said as I bowed once to the crowd. "Mrs. Tachibana, can you tell us your secret to success?" The reporter asked. "No secret." I replied as my eyes landed on Taki and our two beautiful children, our five-year-old daughter Riko-chan, and our three-year-old son Yuuto-kun, who were sitting in the front row. Riko-chan looked a lot like me, although her hair color was brown like Taki-kun's and her body build was like his too, while Yuuto-kun was a carbon copy of his father, except for his hair color, which was black instead of brown. "I just found the right person."

The reporter followed my gaze and smiled. "You mean your husband?" "Yes." I replied. "Starting your own jewelry shop is no way easy. There were so many times I thought it would fail and I almost gave up. However, Taki-kun never gave up on me and kept pushing me to move forward. In the end, it was all because he believed in me, I am able to be where I am today."

The crowd erupted in an applause as the interview was over, while I made my way to my family. "Mommy, you were so cool!" Yuuto-kun said as he ran towards me. I smiled as I picked him up and kissed his cheek. "Thank you Yuuto-kun." "Mommy's the best." Riko-chan said while smiling, making me kiss her cheek too.

"No kiss for me?" Taki-kun asked. "Um... I'll think about that." I replied, making his jaw drop to the floor. "Daddy, you look so funny." Riko-chan laughed, making me chuckle too as I placed Yuuto-kun on the ground. However, Taki got up and hugged me. "You did wonderful Mitsuha." He said, making me smile. "Thank you, Taki-kun."

"Now let's go. I don't want everyone on the terrace to wait for me." I said, making Taki-kun's eyes widen. "How'd you..." "Yuuto-kun told me." "Yuuto! That was supposed to be a secret!" Taki-kun shouted. "Daddy, you know I can't keep secrets for long." Yuuto-kun cried. "That's it. I'm never telling you anything from now on." Taki-kun said angrily, making Yuuto-kun bawl his eyes. "Stupid ototo. Why'd you tell that to mommy?" Riko-chan shouted, making Yuuto-kun cry even more and hug me. "Mommy! Daddy and onee-chan are so cruel!" He wailed like a baby.

"Aiyo, Yuuto-kun, it's okay." I said as I picked him up and hugged him. "Just tell me when they bully you. I'll beat them up." I replied, making both Taki-kun and Riko-chan's eyes widen. "Mommy's the best!" Yuuto-kun said happily and stuck his tongue out to his father and sister.

"Daddy! Did you just see that?" Riko-chan asked, making Taki-kun laugh as he picked up our daughter in his arms. "Don't worry my beautiful daughter. Tell me when mommy tries to beat you," He said and then turned to me with a smirk on his face, "I'll 'deal' with her accordingly." He winked at me and I lost it. "Pervert." I muttered under my breath as I glared at him, my face turning pink.

"Come on now, let's go. Everyone's waiting." Taki-kun said, making me nod. The four of us went to the rooftop, where all our friends were waiting for us. "Congratulations Mitsuha!" Saya-chan squealed happily as she ran towards us. Taki-kun and I placed our children on the ground before we walked over to Saya-chan, who engulfed me in a bear hug.

I smiled as I looked around. Tessie was sitting on the sofa, with his and Saya-chan's two-year-old son, Ayame, in his arms, Hodaka and Hina-san with their two-year-old son Gin. Tohru-san and Kyo-san were also there, with their eight-year-old son Hajime. My sister Yotsuha and her boyfriend Ichi Shingeki. Suzume-chan with her boyfriend Souta-kun, and Tsukasa with his five-year-old adopted son Megumi. "Thank you so much!" I said happily as I walked over.

Although I knew it was a party, I didn't expect it to be a barbeque party. Everyone congratulated me on my success while I thanked everyone. Suddenly, a loud, fiery burst appeared in the sky, making me gasp as I looked up.

"I bet you didn't expect that, right?" Taki-kun asked, making me laugh. "I indeed didn't expect fireworks." I replied. "Looks like our plan wasn't entirely in vain." Riko-chan said, making Taki-kun smile. "That's because I didn't tell your brother about the fireworks." He replied, making Yuuto-kun pout. "Bad daddy! You didn't tell me about this." "If I told you, you would've told mommy about this too, right?" Once he said that, Yuuto-kun instantly kept quiet, although he clearly looked angry.

"Thank you Taki-kun." I said as I hugged him. "Thank you for everything. If it wasn't for you, I never would've been able to be where I am now." "No Mitsuha. This was always your dream from the start. You always had big ambitions. I only pushed you towards it." Taki-kun replied as he held my waist.

I smiled at him once before looking back at the fireworks which kept erupting beautifully in the sky. Finally, after struggling for so long, I finally reached to where I always wanted to be. I leaned against Taki's chest as the two of us kept looking at the colorful sky above us.
