Summer holidays have ended and for Jujutsu High, that meant the exchange event between sister schools was about to commence!

To be honest, Okkotsu Yuta didn't understand why he was here. Treading the same path as his seniors, towards the forest arena for the rendezvous. His heart palpitated in loneliness by the lack of comradery from the 1st years except his overseer but... "the principals stated I could only participate next year, so I'm only here to watch over the students again," she brushed off his questions while they were on the bullet train. As a result of her hair being played with by the upperclassmen, she walked with looped braids.

"Are you feeling okay?" She called out to him.

"A bit scared, honestly." He didn't want to injure anyone beyond repair by letting Rika loose as they began climbing up stairs. "But it's uncanny how similar both schools are in size," everything was still vibrant green, his eyes glossed over it all. But the biggest change was her chipper disposition. "And you're oddly excited about this..."

She ignored it as they reached their destination: A plot of dirt on a stony hill where wind teased the trees and greens.

Without a second to waste, she haphazardly shoved the 'cursed child' aside before taking the brunt of an incoming gorilla's amusement. Fortunately, she was still on the hill. "Troublesome as always, Domo-kun."

A ribbon-wearing woman later revealed to be a teacher from the Kyoto campus, began to let the two groups begin with introductions but Okkotsu just stuck out like a sore thumb. It is unnecessary to elaborate why, I mean just look at him! He's just tacked in because he was freely added in by the first two top-tier sorcerers he'd met! It didn't help that the guy who promptly revealed himself as Kamo Noritoshi gave him a condescending glare. But to add salt to the wound was just one question.

This year, they were playing capture the flag. At least, a variation of it. Since they were allowed to pick a location for the flag. "Additionally!" Gesturing to the oddly eccentric brunette, "Yuri-san will be ranking each and every one of your performances throughout the team battle. Whoever ranks first will 100% receive a promotion to Grade 1!" Principal Yaga added. The students stirred by this remark, including himself.
