What Inumaki Toge didn't expect was for two people his age to be on the receiving end of his attack. With the shorter one, a brunette, covering a taller--KAMO NORITOSHI's EARS?!

Perfectly, she had guarded the notoriously cold heir of the Kamo Clan. As if she was hired to personally guard him. He had aimed directly at the brunette. Another mistake: another scolding. He shuddered at the thought.

"You're..."

She turned around, wearing an eyepatch on her right eye, and gave a close-eyed smile. "You must've thought I was a cursed spirit didn't you?" calmly walking up to him. Completely ignoring the danger she could've received.

Her cursed energy seemed to be the same one that he had sensed. "'But that couldn't be possible, right?' you're thinking as well," she deduced. "That's why I've got this person walking around with me and I avoid crowded places so the whole party doesn't break out in hysteria," she casually remarked, pointing at Kamo Noritoshi behind her. Who seemed to be be paled by the previous moment.

She only tilted her head. After a moment of silence, he gave up and whispered, "sorry for attacking."

"No worries also you can speak up if you need to," she stated. "But what if I accidentally get you ki-" halting himself from saying it, and broke out in a coughing fit. Relieved.

"Are you not planning on enrolling into Jujutsu High?" they both quipped at the same time. Inumaki nodded, his family naturally wanted him to use it for a better cause. Instead of causing casualties. But he'd have to wait the following year to do so. Intriguing them both. "You're going to become a 1st year?!" He was.

The brunette then began rambling: "I can help you out with your cursed speech if you want. I know how to make some barriers and if you go to the Kyoto campus he can help you out," gesturing to the less intriguing teen.

But what intrigued him was how she knew he had cursed speech. "That's easy. The Inumaki Family usually hide their marking around their mouth and tongue while avoiding more social gatherings. And because you seem to be enrolling next year into Jujutsu High, that means you're Inumaki Toge! One of the youngest in the family."

The amount of information she had without even introducing themselves made his blood boil. Simmering within seconds.

"Who are you?"

She stifled a laugh. "My name should be familiar, it's Yuri. Ma Yuri."

'Yuri...'

'MA YURI!?!' He had just attacked the prodigious monster who was already a Grade 1 sorcerer! It made his actions even more embarrassing. 'Of course she would know!'

"I'm usually around the Tokyo Campus though, so if you see me you can practise your cursed technique with me!"

That was the first time he had met Yuri.

"Yuri-san is a very scary person the more you know her," the silver-head murmured. "She's so smart... analysing our capabilities and helping us try to reach our best potential," eyes watering and welling up.
