-Chapter Thirty-

-Gally's POV-

After a few days of walking, we came across a city surrounded by walls. We spent the next few days trying to figure out how to get in which surprisingly was really easy. Once we were inside, we all split up to grab anything we would need on our journey. Sadly for us, someone else wanted to break in and knocked down the wall which let millions of cranks into the city. Our friend group started to defend ourselves and fight against the cranks to try and get materials that we needed as safely as possible.

-Minho's POV-

Hours went by and I started to search for Newt and Thomas who had run off after a crank that was chasing Sonya. Sonya was with me and the rest of the group in case we ran into cranks on our way there. When we found them I froze in shock. Newt was lying on his back not moving, his veins were a green-ish black, and a liquid of the same color had stained his chin. His eyes were glossed over and there was a bullet shot in his head and a knife in his abdomen. Thomas was standing over the body sobbing but I was enraged. I ran up to him and shoved him out of the way collapsing next to Newt.

-Nobody's POV-

It was sad but true that Newt had in fact died. His pulse was gone and his heart stopped beating. Thomas knew what happened but Minho didn't. Minho stood up and yelled at Thomas, "You killed him!! You killed the love of my life!! You claimed to love him but you killed him!!" He cried. Everyone stood in shock. Sonya was holding onto Harriet while sobbing. She had lost everything. Yes, she didn't actually lose everything but she felt like she did because now her entire family was dead. "Shut up! I get we're all upset about his death but don't go blaming each other without proof!" Frypan yelled. He had never said anything like that before so everyone stopped and listened. "Minho, Newt wouldn't want you to blame Thomas without understanding the situation. Sonya, Newt would want you to be happy. Not forget him but be happy." He explained. "So we all must stay strong. For Newt!" He exclaimed. Everyone repeated 'For Newt!' except for Sonya, Minho, and Thomas. "I won't leave here without my brother!" Sonya screamed. "I'm not leaving without BOTH of my boyfriends!" Thomas replied. "I'm not leaving knowing that I saved his life once and failed to save him a second time..." Minho added. Gally looked at Frypan for an order. "Then lets try to find a way to save him." Frypan said. The group nodded and walked inside. Gally picked up Newt's body bridal style and brought him with them as they looked for anything to help him.
