"Bhabhi, bhabhi", shouted Akshara from the entrance of Birla House. Shefali and Harsh who were in the kitchen feeding Shivansh his fruit puree ran to the living room listening to Akshara's voice.
"Chachu, aap Shivu ko pakdo", said Shefali hurriedly and came to the living room.
"Kya hua Akshu? Are you alright?" said Shefali while gasping for breath. Harsh also came to the room with Shivu in his arms.
"Akshu, sab theek toh hai na beta. Koi problem toh nahi hai na", asked Harsh. He looked at Abhimanyu who was sitting on the couch with a bored expression on his face. Abhimanyu nodded his head indicating that everything was alright.
"Haa, bhabhi sab theek hai. Mujhe kya hona hai", said Akshu casually. Abhi held her hand and helped her to sit on the couch.
"Toh phir tum aise chilayi kyun", asked Shefali confusedly.
"Mai chilayi kyun thi, Abhi", Akshu asked thoughtfully. She is suffering from a bad case of baby brains. Right now, she is all over the place. She demolished her whole room two days back to find the purple jacket but couldn't find it. In the end, it was Abhi who told her that she was wearing that purple jacket only. Akshu and her misplacing things is the new romantic story in the Birla House.
"Ohh haa, yaad aya. Bhabhi mai aaj se aapke sath sooyogi", Akshara announced to everyone.
"Huh? I don't understand Akshu", said Shefali.
"Isme samjhaana kya hai bhabhi. Mai aaj se apke sath soonogi. In fact mai aaj se apke hi room mai shift ho jaoongi", said Akshara dramatically.
"Pr kyun?" asked Harsh.
"Because I can't stay with cheaters", said Akshara mockingly while giving a side eye to her husband.
"Cheater. Kaun cheater", asked Harsh.
"Yeh apka beta. Yeh hai, cheater. Duniya ka biggest cheater", Akshara announced dramatically and pointed a finger towards Abhi.
"Pr Akshu, Abhi ne kya kiya", asked Shefali.
"Kya kiya, are yeh poocho kya nhi kiya. Abhi zara help karo meri uthane mai", said Akshara. Abhi rolled his eyes at his drama queen but helped her get up.
"Kya kiya iss gadhe ne ab, beta", said Harsh.
"Haa, papa bilkul sahi naam diya hai apne isse gadha. Yeh sach mai ek number ka gaddha hai", said Akshara.
"Akshu tum pehle decide kr lo ki mai gadha hoon ya cheater", whined Abhi.
"Dono ho tum. In fact tum toh cheater gadhe ho. Haa aaj se mai tumhe yhi bulaoongi cheater gadhe", said Akshara.
"Chee, yeh kaisa naam hai, meri personality ko bilkul suit nhi krta hai", said Abhi.
"Acha ji, toh phir tumhari personality pr kaun sa naam suit krta hai zra mujhe bhi toh bataoo", said Akshara. She put her hands on her hips and glared at Abhi. But Abhimanyu found her looking so cute right now. Abhi wants to bite her chubby cheeks. Her baby bump is enhancing her beauty. She is looking extremely pretty right now.
"Abhi you are a lucky man", thought Abhi.
"Shhh!!!! koi hume batayega ki kya baat hai. Akshu, tum Abhi ko cheater kyu bula rhi thi batao mujhe pehle uske baad koi aur baat krna", said Shefali.
"Haa, bhabhi batati hoon. Yeh Abhi mera attention baar baar divert krta rehta hai. Baar baar mujhe bataon mai uljha deta hai", said Akshara.
"Akshu, focus. Sirf mujh pr focus kro ab aur baat kro", Shefali scolded her. Akshara is all over the place right now.
Akshara pouts but finally starts telling her the main reason for being angry with her husband. "Bhabhi, Abhi ne dhoke se mujhe injection lagaya. Injection woh bhi itna bda wala", said Akshara dramatically while opening her fingers wide to show the length of the injection.
"Injection, injection kyu lagaya tumhe. Sab theek toh hai na", asked Harsh worriedly.
"Sab theek hai sir. Akshu ka Vitamin D level bahut low hai. Isiliye Dr Anushka ne Vitamin D ke injections prescribe kre hai", said Abhi. Harsh and Shefali heaved a sigh of relief.
"Akshu, yeh zaroori tha na beta", said Harsh.
"Haa, haa aap toh bas apne bete ki hi side loge. Apko pta hai na I have a phobia of injections phir bhi Abhi ne mujhe cheat krke injection diya. Pta hai jab maine iske haath mai injection dekha toh mai kitna darr gyi thi", said Akshara dramatically.
"Akhsu, tumhe pta bhi hai ki maine tumhe injection kaha diya hai. Are you feeling any pain?" asked Abhi.
Akshara opened her mouth to answer but she didn't have any answer. Truth to be told she did not know where Abhi had given her the injection. It could be on her arm or her bum but she didn't know. She didn't even feel the prick of the needle. She just saw the open injection in Abhi's hand and panicked badly.
"Kya hua nhi hai na jawab chidkurani. Bas chidna hai chahe kuch pta ho ya na ho", Abhi mocked Akshu.
"Papa", Akshu whined and Harsh instantly came in her support.
"Tameez se Abhimanyu. This is not the way to talk with your wife", Harsh scolded Abhimanyu. Akshara showed her tongue to him.
"Sorry, Akshu", mumbled Abhi.
"Akshu, tum bhi shant ho jao ab. Itna gussa is not good for you", said Harsh. Akshara nodded her head.
"Haa, Akshu. Abhi ne tumhe injection isiliye diya because it is needed. Warna woh tumhe aisey hi thodi na injection lagata", Shefali explained to her.
"But bta ke bhi toh lawa sakta tha. Cheating krne ki kya zaroorat thi", said Akshu slowly.
"Agar woh bta ke lagata toh kya tum use injection lagane deti", asked Harsh. Akshu shook her head.
"Isiliye he didn't tell you anything", said Harsh. Akshara put her head down.
"Par mai aaj se apke sath hi sooyogi. Kya pta Abhi phir kab mujhe injection lga de", said Akshara.
"Theek hai so jana. Aaj se mai, tum aur Shivu saath mai soenge. Ok", Shefali consoled her.
"Yes, Shivu aaj se chachi apke sath soyegi. Kitna mza ayega na", said Akshara happily. She looked towards her nephew and tried to pick her up but Abhi stopped her.
"Kitni baar bola hai ki you can't lift Shivu in this condition. Ab kya written mai memo dena padega", said Abhi. He helped Akshara to sit on the couch and then handed her Shivu. Shivu and Akshara started playing together with his baby elephant.
"Mujhe bhook lgi hai", mumbled Akshu.
"Mujhe bhi", Shivu repeated his favourite person's words.
"Haa, mai lati hoon tum dono ke liye kuch khane ko", said Shefali and went to the kitchen. Abhimanyu went behind her to drink water.
"Pta nhi bhabhi mai Akshu ko age kaise sambhaloonga", said Abhi with a sigh. Shefali laughed loudly looking at her brother-in-law's condition.
"Abhi socho, agar tumhare bache bhi Akshu jaise hue toh", said Shefali. Abhi shuddered at the thought of handling three drama queens at the same time. He will surely get bald by the time his babies turn 10.
"Don't worry you still have 4 months to be prepared for it", said Shefali. She patted his shoulder and went out with the tray in her hand.
"Hey Mahadev", said Abhi and sat down on the slab of the kitchen thinking about his future.
