I'll Be There For You (Abhira fic)

Chapter - 24

"Okay, so the first game is 'find the food' and all the males will participate in it", announced Nishtha.

"Why, males only?" asked Harsh.

"Because aise hi", replied Nishtha.

"Acha, ab bataoongi bhi hume karna kya hai?" asked Parth.

"Very simple game, bhai. Mai aapko kuch food items doongi, apko usme se baby food select krna hai aur uss food ko prepare bhi krna hai", Nishtha tells them about the game.

"And I will be the judge. Since I have a lot of experience in it", said Shefali.

"Phir toh mai hi jeetunga", boasts Parth.

"No way, bhaiya jeetega toh mera Abhi hi. Use best aur koi nhi hai", said Akshu. Abhi blushed a little and gave her a flying kiss. 

"OK guys, cut it out. Let's start the game", said Harsh.

"Yes, chachu. Mai game ke rules samjhati hoon. Yha pr bahut sari cheezein rakhi hai, apko unmein se baby food select krna hai aur use baby ka food prepare krna hai. But you can't taste anything. You can smell it but can't taste it. Got it", Nishtha tells them the rules. 

"Okay, we understand this. Bring it on", said Anand excitedly. All the males stand in front of the table. All the food items look the same, one cannot recognise the baby food just by looking at them. 

"Nish, yeh toh sab same lag rha hai. Isme se kaise pta chalega sab", asked Parth irritatedly.

"What happened Parth, tum toh jeetne wale the na. Abhi se hi itne confuse ho gye", Mahima mocked her son. Parth made a face but started searching for the baby food by smelling the items like Abhimanyu.

Neil and Harsh are perplexed. They can't distinguish anything, so Neil chose the best way. He put every item in the bowl and mix it with a large quantity of water. He started mixing the batter happily. 

Everyone smells and mixes one or two items in a bowl with water, but Abhimanyu used only one item and mixed it with milk instead of water.

"Times up", announced Nishtha. "Bhabhi, aap check kijiye sabke food items", she said it to Shefali. Shefali nodded her head and started tasting the food items. First, she tasted the food prepared by Anand. 

"Papa, it is semolina. Not the baby food", said Shefali. Anand made an ohh face but graciously accepted his defeat so did Harsh.

"Bhabhi maine na baby ke liye best food banaya hai. Isse sare nutrients milenge baby ko", boasts Neil proudly. Shefali tasted a little from its mixture and spat it out instantly.

"Yeh kya hai, Neil. It tastes like a vomit", said Shefali. She immediately drank a lot of water to remove that taste from her mouth.

"Par maine toh isme sab mix kr diya tha, phir yeh bekar kaise ho gya", asked Neil confusedly.

"Because idiot, yeh sare products raw hai. Aur inme namak bhi include hai", said Shefali. 

"Acha!!!" said Neil. Abhi hit the back of his head. His brother is really an idiot. 

Then Shefali tasted the food prepared by Abhimanyu. It was perfect. She gives Ceralac to Shivu with milk only. "Perfect Abhimanyu. This is the best food I have tasted till now. Mai bhi Shivu ko aise hi khana deti hoon", Shefali praised her brother-in-law.

"Yayyy!!! Abhi, I know tum hi jeetoge. You are the best", said Akshara loudly. She gives a flying kiss to him which Abhi catches immediately. 

At last, Shefali tasted Parth's food, Which is horrible. "This is horrible, Parth. Thank god tum Shivu ka khana prepare nhi krte ho warna mere bache ka pait humesha kharab rehta", said Shefali annoyedly.
