Abhimanyu is pacing to and fro in the garden, pulling his hair from time to time. Neil, Parth and Shivansh watched him pacing to and fro in the garden muttering something under his breath. They are moving their heads like a game of tennis of going on.
"Abhimanyu, tum yha kya kr rhe ho", asked Mahima. He should be in his room right now then what is he doing here at this time?
"Tayiji, bhabhi ne bhai ko unke room se bahar nikal diya", said Neil cheekily.
"Kya, pr kyu", asked Mahima.
"Kyuki bhai, bhabhi ko disturb kr rhe the and bhabhi cannot do her work properly", said Neil.
"Shut up, Neil", said Abhi and slapped the back of his head. "I am doing no such thing. You should not speak more than you know".
"Pr Abhimanyu tum is time yha kr kya rhe ho. Tumhe toh Inu aur Niyu ko ready krne mai Akshara ki help krni chahiye na", said Mahima.
Today is Inaya and Inara's first day of pre-school and Abhi is sulking over it. He didn't want his two and half year daughters to go to school so soon. According to him, they are too small to go to school right now. He tried explaining the side effects of going to school to Akshu but she was having none of it. She wanted the girls to attend school and have the best time of their lives.
"Tayiji", said Abhi reached instantly before her. "Aap hi batao abhi Inu aur Niyu kitni choti hai unhe abhi school nhi jana chahiye na. What if they need me there? What if other students bully them? What if someone fights with them?" He tried to take the help of Mahima to stop this school-going activity. He knew Akshu would not say no to Mahima.
"Not again Abhimanyu. Hum iss bare mai already baat kr chuke hai. Inu aur Niyu dono excited hai school jane ke liye. Unhone last week hi apna bag pack kr liya school jane ke liye. Unhe kuch nhi hoga. This is the best preschool in this area. Wha pr teachers hongi bacho ko sambhalne ke liye", said Mahima, breaking Abhimanyu's hopes. He pouted upon hearing this reply from her.
"But tayiji woh mere bina wha kaise rahengi", said Abhimanyu sadly.
"Jaise roz rehti hai. Abhi, you are a doctor. Have you forgotten that?" said Harshvardhan. He put a hand on his shoulder to console his stupid son. He was behaving irrationally today.
"Haa, pr Akshu toh hoti hai un dono ke pass", mumbled Abhi. Harsh shook his head.
"Abhi, I knew you don't want them to grow up soon but beta ispr humara koi control nhi hai", said Harsh. He understands what Abhi is feeling right now. He also didn't want his granddaughters to grow up so quickly but they can't stop time.
"Papa woh dono itni jaldi-jaldi kyun badi ho rhi hai. I don't want them to grow up so soon", sulked Abhi.
"Popsi", heard Abhi the loud voice of Inara. He looked up and saw her running on the stairs. He hurriedly went close to her.
"No running on the stairs, Inu", shouted Abhi. His heartbeat fluctuates whenever he sees his girls running on the stairs.
Inara stopped in front of him showing him her new school dress. She is so excited to go to school and this dress is really pretty. She twirled for her father. "Mai kaisi lag rhi hoon, Popsi", asked Inara excitedly.
"Beautiful, like always", said Abhi emotionally and kissed the crown of her head. Inara smiled beamingly at him.
"Popsi", Abhi heard the voice of his eldest daughter Inaya coming towards him in the same school dress. She too stood in front of him. "I look good, Popsi", asked Inaya calmly. Inaya is the quiet one, whereas Inara is the louder twin.
"Beautiful. You were looking absolutely beautiful Niyu", whispered Abhi and kissed the crown of her head. He got a lump in his throat looking at his girls going to the school for the first time.
