I'll Be There For You (Abhira fic)

Chapter - 17

Akshara is sitting at the dining table eating her breakfast. She is relishing the delicious Aloo Paranthas with pickle and curd for breakfast. Shefali especially made these paranthas for her because yesterday Akshara was craving it.

"Aru, ek parantha pass krna", said Akshara. Arohi made a face but passed the parantha to Akshara.

"Yumm... Bhabhi kitne badiya paranthe banati hai na", said Akshara while eating her parantha. Arohi didn't reply anything to her. She is busy scrolling through her social media accounts. Only Akshara and Arohi are sitting at the dining table having their breakfast. 

After a very long time, Akshara was alone in the Birla House. All the other members of the family are busy with their work. Shefali had gone to the hospital for Shivansh's vaccination. Harsh and Abhi went to the Birla Hospital to attend the Board Meeting. Abhi did not want to go to the hospital leaving Akshara alone with Arohi but his presence was required there. Akshara had to push him from the house to attend this meeting.

"Aru, thoda sa dahi pass krna", asked Akshara politely. Arohi passed her the curd. Akshara was eating her breakfast peacefully when her phone rang. Her phone was a little far from her reach. She looked towards Arohi to pass her phone but Arohi was busy in her own world. Akshara is 7 months pregnant right now too with twins so, she is not very mobile at this moment. She needs help with routine activities. 

After a lot of struggle, she finally reached for her phone. But as soon as she picked up the phone the call got cut. After a minute, her phone rang again. It was her worry-wart husband who was worried about her. 

"Hello", Akshara huffs on the phone.

"Hello, Akshu tum theek toh na. Phone kyun nhi uthaya pehli baar mai. Mujhe ana hi nhi chahiye tha iss stupid board meeting mai. Whi tumhare pass rehna chahiye tha", babbled Abhi.

"Shh! Shhh! Meri Express Train. Shant ho jao", said Akshara stopping her husband from babbling.

"Tum theek ho na Akshu", asked Abhi worriedly.

"I am fine Abhi. I am absolutely fine. Stop taking any tension", said Akshara lovingly.

"It's my job Akshu. Tumne kuch khaya", asked Abhi.

"Haa, baba I know it's your job to think about us,  but please stop. I am absolutely fine. Aur haa, mai abhi breakfast hi kr rhi hoon. Bhabhi ne bahut sawad aloo paranthe banaye hai. Sath mai yummy wala aam ka achar jo maa ne last year banaya tha aur dahi. Aaj toh mza hi aa gya breakfast mai", said Akshara happily.

Abhi is satisfied with her answer. "I'm happy you are enjoying your breakfast but baby, don't overeat. Last time bhi you had severe heartburn due to overeating", Abhi cautioned her.

"I know Abhi. Mujhe sab ache se yaad hai. Tum tension mat lo. Tum board meeting mai gye woh ache se attend kro. Bas 2 hi ghanto ki toh baat hai", said Akshara.

"Ohh, janeman tumhare bina toh 2 ghnate bhi 2 saal jitne bde lagte hai", said Abhi dramatically. Akshara giggled hearing his talks. He is too cute.

"Acha, ab jao aur mujhe bhi khana khane do. Jaldi jaoge tabhi toh jaldi aaoge", said Akshara.

"Yes, you are right. Mai chalta hoon. Take care of yourself. I love you", said Abhi.

"I love you too", said Akshara while blushing. They have been married for 2 years still whenever Abhi declared his love for Akshara, she blushed like a newly wedded bride.

"Stop blushing Akshu", said Abhi teasingly.

"Abhi, yr stop teasing me. Bye", whined Akshara and cut the call.

 Akshara is so busy conversing with Abhimanyu that she misses the displeased look on Arohi's face. Arohi's hatred for Akshara increased after getting married to Neil. She was never friendly with Akshara but from the moment Akshara got pregnant, she hated Akshara to the core. She hated when Akshara got everybody's attention. According to Arohi, it was Akshara and Abhimanyu who were ruining her chances of being the best in this family.
