I'll Be There For You (Abhira fic)

Chapter - 20

It's been a week since the whole Arohi fiasco happened. Goenka tried to create a mess after Arohi and Neil's divorce, but Birla's have none of it. Neil stood his ground. There will be no compromise between Arohi and Neil. He and his family will not accept Arohi back in their house. 

Akshara also came back from the hospital. She is better now. Abhimanyu and other members of the family are taking good care of her. They are fulfilling all her wishes and cravings. The family is planning a surprise baby shower for the couple. The panic attack stressed the couple a lot. Abhimanyu is walking on eggshells right now, careful not to say or do anything that would affect Akshara's health. He could not forget that moment when he saw unconscious Akshara in front of his eyes. He is so careful with Akshara, always on his toes to fulfil Akshara's demands.

"Akshu, come on have this juice", said Abhi while thrusting a glass of mixed fruit juice in her hand.

Akshara sighed. "Abhi, no. I don't want to drink it. It is very yucky. Ise peekar eww eww hota hai", said Akshu with puppy dog eyes.

"Akshu yr, it is healthy for you. Please have it", said Abhi pleadingly.

"Abhi please", pouts Akshara. Abhi retrieved the glass from her hand and put it on the side table.

"As you wish Akshu", said Abhi. He knew he couldn't force her to drink it. He is still afraid of how would Akshara react if he forced or said something to her.

"Thank you, Abhi. You are the best", said Akshara happily. 

Mahima shook her head looking at the couple. This is not them. They are behaving exactly opposite to their nature. Mahima knew if she didn't intervene now, it would eventually create problems for them in the future. She has to talk to them. 

With the determined steps, she entered their room. "Akshara drink this juice right now", said Mahima. She took the glass from the side table and handed it over to Akshara.

"Pr tayiji, I don't want to drink it", said Akshara with a pouty face.

"Akshara, you knew it very well that your pouty face or puppy dog look won't work on me. So, drink this right now", said Mahima. 

"Abhi, please tum bolo na tayiji ko", said Akshara.

"Tayiji, let it be. Agar uska man nhi hai toh", said Abhimanyu coming to Akshara's rescue but one look from Mahima shuts him up.

"Akshara", said Mahima a little loudly and Akshara instantly drank the juice.

"Eww, tayiji. It's so yucky", said Akshara and handed the empty glass to Abhi. Abhi is happy that Akshara drinks the juice.

"Abhimanyu sit down. Mujhe tum dono se kuch zaroori baat krni hai", said Mahima.

"What is it tayiji. Sab sahi toh hai na", asked Abhi.

"Sab sahi hai Abhimanyu. Tum baitho yha. I have to discuss something with you guys", said Mahima. Abhimanyu and Akshara looked at each other. Abhi sat down and waited for Mahima to talk.

"Akshara, mai jo bhi pucho tum please uska jawab mujhe honestly dena", said Mahima. Akshara nodded her head.

"How is Abhimanyu as a partner?" asked Mahima. Akshara and Abhimanyu looked at each other in confusion.

"Yeh kaisa question hai tayiji", asked Akshara. 

"Simple question hai Akshara. How is Abhimanyu as a partner?" Mahima asked the same question again.

"Abhimanyu is the best partner anyone can ask for. He loves me so much, takes care of me, and looks after me. Mere bare mai mujhse zayada Abhi ko pta hai. Meri har choti si choti zaroorat ke bare mai Abhi ko mujhse pehle hi pta hota hai", said Akhsara happily.
