It's been two weeks since Shawn's first vine and so far the response has been amazing. He has almost 400,000 followers now and girls are crazily stalking him. Every now and then I'll post a new vine and get a positive response, but that's very rare. I have about 10,000 followers now and I love my fans. Even though most of them are Shawn's fans, I still appreciate the support.
It's that Saturday evening that Shawn gets a call.
"Hello"
"Oh my gosh, really?!"
"Okay thank you so much"
"I will, okay bye"
Well that must be good news.
"Guess what?!" Shawn yells as he hums on the couch next to me.
"What?" I giggle at his excitement.
"I just got a call from the manager of Magcon and he wants me to be a part of their group as a singing act!!" He smiles.
"That's wonderful Shawn, I'm so happy for you!"
"But there's one thing...." he frowns and looks down at my hands and putting them into his.
"What, what is it?" I say, my smile fading.
"I will be gone for the next 6 months on tour and I leave next week." he says playing with my fingers. Sadness washes over my faces and he pulls me into a big hug.
"Oh Shawn, I want you to go, don't worry about me I'll be fine."
"I am worried about you," he says,"you need me here, I promised you I would wait."
"I know you did, Shawn, but I can wait too." And with that he crashes his lips into mine. The kiss is slow and careful. As if he hasn't been waiting all of this time to kiss me but I know it's because of how fragile we are in this moment. I break the kiss pecking his lips one last time.
"I think I'm in love with you"
