I wanted her. I wanted her so bad. She used to be mine. I used to hold her and protect her and comfort her. I let her go.
"What did I just do?" I questioned myself.
She was perfect and I wanted her back. I wanted her back so badly, but no, I told her to leave me. She was going to choose me and I told her to take Matt instead.
My phone buzzes.
Carabear: Get down here
Shawn: did everything go well?
Carabear: j come down plz
Why did she need me, she has Matt now. Unless he hurt her! I race down to the lobby just in time to see Cara staring at Matt walking away with another girl.
"Who was that?" I ask from behind her.
"That was my cousin, Nina," She sighed.
"Well what happened with Matt?"
"Nothing, he told me he didn't want to hurt me any further and that it was best for him to move on."
Matt passing up Cara?
"Are you okay?"
"I'm fine, but I guess you weren't right...Matt wanted Nina not me."
"I want you."I spoke softly and right then and there she kissed me. Finally, I thought I would never feel my lips against hers ever again. I thought we were over.
"Thank God I was wrong."
