Cara

First day of school. Perfect for first impressions and a glimpse of the next whole year of your life. Me, being 15 am only a sophomore so I've only spent one year in hell so far. I walk down the hallways in hopes to find someone I know. To be honest I don't have many friends besides Ashley. We became friends last year, being in the same boring history class we instantly bonded over our hate for Mr. Roberts.

I keep walking until I find my locker. Its currently empty, but I decide to just jam all my stuff in. I literally hate everyone. I gather my things just as the bell rings. I walk to class ready for some boring blabbering about classroom rules. When I get there I realize there is only a few seats left. I choose from the two seats in the back by the window, right where I should be.

I sit there patiently waiting for the class to start when I see someone sit down beside me. To my surprise the person sitting next to me is the cute singing boy from next door.

"Hey." he says as I continue to stare at him with wide eyes.

"Oh hi," I smile. "you live in the house next to mine right?" I asked trying to sound like I wasn't watching him through my window last night.

"Yeah, I'm Shawn." he laughs. I know he knows I was watching him, but he doesn't have to laugh about it. Gosh, like don't be a roach. (a/n: sorry this is an inside joke between me and my friends, just ignore it haha)

"I'm Cara, nice to meet you finally." I say trying not to stare to deeply in his beautiful eyes. Oh my gosh what am I saying, I have a boyfriend.

"Well, it's nice to meet you too." He seems to be interested in our conversation so far but I don't want my aggressiveness to get in the way, so I turn around and face the front of the class.

At the end of class I get up to leave, but someone stops me. It's Shawn.

"I'll look forward to seeing you watch me play again, it's kind of nice with an audience." He smirks and leaves the room before I have the chance to say anything more.

When lunch rolls around I look around for Matt and Ashley. I see them at a table in the shade, Matt eating chips and Ashley talking his ear off, like she always does. I skip over there dramatically and Matt runs towards me embracing me in a big giant hug.

"Oh my gosh, I haven't seen you in like two days!" He screams. I laugh and punch him in the shoulder. Matt was so funny and so sweet, I couldn't imagine being without him.

"I know I missed you so much." I giggle. I turn around to see Ashley behind me smiling at our cuteness.

"Hey Ash," I grin.

"Hey Lazy butt,"She says.

We all sit down at our table talking, when I spot Shawn across the lawn looking for a seat. Matt whistles from behind me.

"Hey, Shawn over here!" he yells, pointing to a seat next to him.

Shawn walks over awkwardly. I kinda felt bad for him. He's new here so he must not know anybody.

"You can sit with us if you want." Matt says kindly. Awww I love my boyfriend.

"I would like that, as you can see I don't have many friends." Shawn laughs.

"Yeah we can see." Ashley snorts, as I hit her on the boob.

"Shut up Ashley, Shawn's my neighbor." I said raising my eyebrow at her. Her expression when from annoyed to amused. I know she wanted to see who the boy that I watched so much was.

"Oh, well in that case, make yourself comfortable." She said biting her lip. Ashley liked all guys, especially if they could sing.

"Thanks." Shawn sat down next to Matthew.

That night I remembered what Shawn had told me. I sat at my window seat until I saw him bring out his guitar. When he saw me he gestured for me to open the window so he could say something. I did what he said.

"Hey so do you mind if I change it up tonight?" He asked

"How so?"

"Maybe you could sing." He smirked

So that was the end of the chapter. Don't worry she has a good voice so she won't embarrass herself. I would hate to be asked to sing, tbh. I hate singing in front of people unless I act like it's bad.

lol okay bye
