Chapter 13: Jackpot

Third Person POV

Issei: "Call me the Successor of Sparda"

Issei knows that he shouldn't be spilling the beans of what he was to Rias and the others, esspecially since they haven't really gained his trust. But he doesn't sense anything hostile from them, plus he doubts that they will be able to piece anything together.

Like Rias and Akeno, he could see they were trying to find out who Sparda is but they'll only turn up empty handed since Sparda isn't from this world. So the chances of them discovering who the truth was already in the zero department. But Issei still wasn't sure how the underworld worked in both this and Dante and Vergils, for all he knew they could be connected or they could be completely separate things.

The two never really taught him much about it except teaching him thr basics of its history, that its a place where all the demons dwell and that was it. Trish, being from the underworld knew more than the twins. However, she told Issei to not think about it much considering he had to stay focused on the goal he had at the time.

He saw the confused looks he was getting from Rias and the others, he had to say it was a little funny but he won't say anything.

Rias: "Sparda? I've never heard of that name before"

Akeno: "I haven't either, who is it Issei-kun?"

Issei merely chuckled, lowering his shirt much to the annoyance of Rias and Akeno because they were unknowingly and secretly taking pictures of Issei's muscular body but now they can't anymore.

Issei: "Sorry, I'm nit gonna spoil anything for you just yet. I want you all to find out on your own"

Rias: "I see, well then. Do you have any questions you wanna ask me?"

Issei crossed his arms, he already knows about the Three Factions and the Sacred Gears thanks to Ddraig and his many years of experience. However, a thought tugged in the back of his mind and has been for quite some time now.

Issei: "Yeah, I have one but I'm not sure weather or not I should say it...."

Rias: "Please, ask away. I'll answer any question I can to the best of my abilities"

Issei nodded in understanding before he grew a serious expression.

Issei: "Did you know that Fallen Angels were in Kuoh?"

That thought, that one thought had been plaguing the brown-haired boys mind for a while now. He had wondered why Rias hadnt taken care of them, a part if him feels like she was trying to do something sinister but he wouldn't be sure unless he gets it from her.

Rias, taken aback by Issei's sudden change in attitude had to say that he was very intimidating. But she soon composed herself, she had s feeling that he would ask that question eventually.

Honestly, she was surprised that it wasnt the first thing he asked them when he walked into the room. He already known that they werent human, so he probably knew that Raynare was a Fallen Angel pretending to be a human.

Rias: "I did...."

Issei: "So, mind telling me why you didn't take care of Raynare?"

Rias let out a small sigh.

Riae: "Unfortunately, its not that simple"

Issei raised an eyebrow in confusion.

Issei: "What do you mean? can't you just go up to them and just kill them?"

Rias shook her head.

Rias: "No, both the angels and Fallen Angels possess light/holy weapons which is very fatal to us Devils. But not only that, since we haven't made contact with them. We dont know their intentions, so if we just randomly killed some Fallen Angel then...."
