I don't know why I behaved like that towards her.

Lukas takes a sip of his juice and looks at me. I take my eyes off my phone and look at him.
"Can we go for a swim tomorrow? Just...just the two of us?" He asks shyly. I smile slightly then nod before walking to my bedroom.
I haven't seen Edelle in a while and Dylan claims he had 'important shit' to handle.

I plop onto my bed with a sigh and when I close my eyes, something clicks.

"I'm Claire."

"Don't talk to strangers."

A ring. Sparkle. A ring.

She was wearing a ring. I open my eyes and sigh.
I want her beside me. I want to feel her scent. Her smile.

Her presence.

She's changed so much. I guess she dyed her hair again and made them into curls.
And somehow, her eyes had changed from green to brown.

"Daddy?" Lukas calls and pops his head through my door. I sit up and look at him.

"I'm done eating." He says and walks a bit closer. I nod and pull him onto my bed. "Are you okay?" I ask and he shakes his head.

"Is-is my mommy dead?" He whispers. I tense up and swallow.
I look at him before looking away again.
He was only five, how did he know about stuff like that? I mean she's not dead but still.

"No." I answer. He looks at me with glazed eyes and I feel like I am a bad person.
"Then where is she?" He asks another question.
This is it. I'm not going to lie to my son anymore.

"She's here." I say. His eyes widen and he wipes his eyes. "Really?" He beams and I nod.
"She's here. And you met her." I say and I can sense the confusion from his gaze.
"The lady in the elevator." I say and his eyes widen once again. I nod and he bursts into tears.
I am beyond shocked and I carry him and hug him to my chest while playing with his curly hair.

"Can we meet her?" He asks when he calms down and I nod.

If only it were that easy.

The dinner was amazing and the kids ended up sleeping before we left.
I smile at how cute my babies look when they sleep.

"Food seemed to tucker them out." Josh chuckles and opens our room door. I sigh and take off my sandals before rolling onto the couch.

"I'll put them down and be back in a minute." Josh says and kisses my cheek. I smile and place my head on a throw pillow.

"I'm Lukas"

My son.

I finally saw him.

He's so grown. And so cute.

I wish I could hold him. Hug him and kiss his cheek.

I close my eyes when I feel something wet on my forehead. I open my eyes and see Josh smiling.

I sit up and pull him towards the couch, nestling between his thighs.

"Did you get me a locket?" I ask and he frowns a bit. "No,I didn't." He says with clear confusion.
I look at him with an unsure expression.
If he didn't,then who did? Was someone stalking me?

An instant wave of fear washes over me and I try my best to shake it off.

I'll let it slide. But I won't wear the locket.

I just love all my readers soooooo much I can't stay away from them. Aww.
Anyways,I won't give any promises any more but here it is.

This is probably the turning point of the story and we're probably going to have more chapters than book 1 but either way,it's all for a good cause.

Ily all soo much.

And to reciprocate that love, remember to vote, comment and share. It would mean a lot to me.
