I take a deep breath and dust off the imaginary dirt on my casual shirt before looking at Lukas.
"Are we going to meet my mommy?" He asks excitedly. I nod and ruffle his curly hair a bit. He crinkles his nose and smiles at me.

I knock on her hotel room door and the little boy that looks like me opens the door.
"Hello." He says calmly while looking at me dead in the eyes.
"Where's your mother?" I ask and he shrugs before looking behind him.

"Uncle Josh,there's a man with a child at the door." He says with a slight English accent.

"I'm coming." A man yells from the opposite room.
He looks at Lukas and finally smiles,but it isn't a genuine smile. More like a stressed and uncomfortable smile.

"Morning." The man with an English accent greets and smiles. "May I know why you're here?" He asks kindly. I nod and look at Lukas.

"We...I want to meet your wife... girlfriend..Claire. I want to meet Claire." I say without smiling. He looks at Lukas and nods.
"I'm sorry,you're late. She left the hotel a few hours ago." He shakes his head while saying.

How could she?

I already had enough shit on my plate and now I had to deal with this?

"What do you mean?" I ask,my patience running out. He narrows his eyes and I can sense his suspicions.

"Daddy,you said we're coming to meet mommy. Did you lie?" Lukas asks innocently. Josh's eyes widen and I can see how realisation hits him.

"You're...." He stutters.

"Yes I am. And I want to meet my woman." I finally crack. He frowns and looks at me.

"Listen to me pal,she is not your woman and even if she's with me,she isn't my woman. She's her own woman. Please leave before I call the reception." He warns and I smirk at his ignorance.

"Trust me,you don't want to go down this lane with me." He says and looks at me straight in my eyes.

I want to slam the door but the little boy standing beside him looks just like Claire and I hate to admit it.

"Please leave. I want to sleep but your incessant bickering will be an obstruction." Liam says before walking away.
His eyes widen and he looks at me.

"Like you heard,please leave." I say and turn around.

"Are we going back to London or we're staying here?" Noah asks when we leave Jervis Bay.

I nod with a smile and look at my phone.

"Aunty Claudine will pick us up so we'll just have to wait." I tell him and he nods. I love how he's easy to convince and how he doesn't talk back when spoken to.

"Will we see Doctor Mason?" He asks and I smile.
"Yes. And Nurse Holly."

Claudine finally pulls up in a red Audi and it shocks how he flew down from London so quickly.

"Hi loves." She greets and draws down her glasses.
Outside the hospital,she's fun and super crazy and that's what I like about her. We met during our first year in medical school and we hit it off.

"Aunty Claudine,I saw water and crabs and a big fish. Ooh and I swam." Noah beams when we sit in the car.
"I'm sure you had fun,but sadly you have a wet blanket for a mother." She says and looks at me with a wink. I roll my eyes and run my hand through my curly hair.

She turns on the engine of the car when suddenly,a black Jeep comes in view and blocks our path. I groan and place my head on the head rest infront of me.

"Wait here." Claudine says and unbuckles her seat belt. I nod and clutch onto Noah.

"What the fuck man?! You don't just block someone's fucking way because you own a shit car." She curses and to be honest,her British accent makes it cooler.

The door to the Jeep opens and the first thing I see is a black shiny dress shoe.
