Eliza looks at the man infront of her before adjusting her shades.
"After eighteen years,you finally choose to acknowledge me?" She asks and looks at him. The woman sitting beside frowns impatient and expresses it through an eye roll.
"Listen banphrionsa,take the deal or leave it. We already know how your sweet sweet Conner beats you to pulp almost everyday." The woman says and hands a blank cheque with a signature.
Felix looks at her with a quirked eyebrow as if he was expecting an answer.
"I'll..I'll tak it." She stutters. The woman smiles gleefully revealing a set of pearly whites. She gets out of her seat and follows Felix into a black car. Leaving Eliza to decide her fate.

"Claire, we're back." Josh says and opens the front door. My legs move faster than my mind can think and I push Elron outside through the door leading to the backyard.
"It's fucking late!" He cusses and looks at me. I roll my eyes and push him even harder.
"Hey." I say when I get to the living room. Josh smiles and hugs me. I try to calm my palpitating heart by breathing in his scent. It always helps,but not today.
"Mommy." Liam says and hugs me.
Josh frowns a bit when he sees the disheveled duvet on the couch.
"Claudine?" He asks and I wish he hadn't.
I nod even though I know it's a lie.
"Yay,Liam's here." Noah yells and runs towards us.
Liam smiles and follows him to their shared bedroom.
"Why did you come?" It comes out wrong but I don't care.
"Well,it won't be fun to spend the holidays without you,so..here I am." He shrugs and smiles.
I smile wryly before turning away.

It's not fucking fair for her to just shove me.
I should probably barge in there but that would only worsen the case.
I have a minute long mental battle deciding whether I should barge or stay and sadly,the barge in urge wins.
I hold the door knob and take a deep breath before walking in.
