I wake up and get ready for school. Ugh school I know I know. I put on some wide legged jeans and throw on a hoodie over it. Ms Brown makes us breakfast every morning but I skip it I mean who eats breakfast anyway. I grab my backpack and keys and obviously my phone. I can't live without that thing. I walk towards Bridgette's car and she's already playing my favorite song. She knows me all too well. I start singing and screaming the lyrics.

I love All Too Well 10 Minute Version that song is my shit! We arrive at school and I felt extremely anxious especially after what happened at the party. I stay close to Bridgette like glue and Chloe walks with us too. Soon later Chloe goes her separate way and me and Bridgette head to math class. I put my stuff down at my desk and wait for the teacher to teach the class boring math. I look out the window for the majority of the class until the teacher notices and calls me out. That bitch.

Bridgette looks over to me and explains to me what we are doing and I somehow get the hang out it and before you know it i'm turning in the paper and zoning out again. The bell finally rings and we head out the classroom. Before you know it schools over. YAY. I walked home this time with Chloe keeping aware of my surroundings. We made it to the orphanage and I get a dm on my phone from instagram. I run upstairs to the bedroom and open it the dm. It's from Taylor Nation. Wait a minute... Taylor Nation?!?

Ms Browns orphanage; New York, New York.

I couldn't believe it I screamed so loud and cried I ran to Ms Browns room to show her.

"Look look LOOK!" I screamed and showed her the message.

She smiled and then she said something i'd never ever forget.

"Amelia honey of course you can go you deserve it!" She hugged me and my smile just grew bigger and bigger.

Now I just have to keep this a secr from Bridgette and everyone else. I walk upstairs back to the room and act normal or at least try too. Jessica is reading her book and Chloe is taking a nap.

"Jess?" I say.

"Yes love?" She replies.

"Can we watch a movie together?" I say and sit on her bed.

"Of course" She smiles and we end up watching Pitch Perfect. I love Pitch Perfect it's the best movie! We both sing and dance and then Chloe wakes up from her nap and yawns.

"What time is it?" she asks

"2pm" I say.

"Oh it's time for lunch I'm going to grab something" she says heading downstairs.

"Me too.. pause the movie please" Jessica says.

"Do you want anything?" Jessica also says.

"No thanks I just ate" I lie.

I waited patiently until Jessica and Chloe came back and then unpaused the movie. The movie played for a little longer and then it finished. When it finished I went over to my bed and snuggled up with my stuffed animals while watching Gilmore Girls. I just can't believe that I got invited to a secret session and I get to meet Taylor. It's literally in less than 13 days. AHH. I don't even know what to wear. Oh my god. What the fuck am I going to wear? I have a black Reputation crop top I could wear! UGHH DUDE WHY AM I THINKING ABOUT THIS KNOW? I literally have 12 days to think about it. The Gilmore Girls episode finishes and I decide to take a walk around downtown. I put on ripped jeans and a purple crop top and rush out the door with my headphones and phone. I start walking towards downtown and the smell of the city makes me smile. I love New York City so much. I walk through the busy streets and through thousands of people. The August breeze is warm and nice. I can't help but smile at all the pretty skyscrapers. I head towards the Empire State Building and my smile grows bigger. I can't believe i'm actually in front of the Empire State Building. Am I dreaming? Wow. It's so pretty. I take some pictures and then continue my walk. People look at me like i'm some snack. I'm not even pretty. Ugh.

I sit at Central Park for a while and read on a park bench. I love reading it's always a good way to distract myself. This boy comes over to my bench and at first I get a little nervous because of the incident that occurred at the party but he seems sweet. I look up from my book and he's already sitting down looking at me.

"What you reading?" he asks.

"The Holy Bible" I joke and he laughs, he's laugh is cute. It makes me smile.

"I'm joking I'm reading Romeo and Juliet."

"Classic" he says.

"You're a reader?" I ask.

"Yes I love to read" He says and I smile.

"What's your name?" I ask him.

"Jackson" He says.

"I'm Amelia" I smile up at him.

"How old are you? he asks.

"16" I say.

"I'm 17"

"What are you doing out here all alone?" he asks. I start to panic cause this is something a creep would say.

"Just out for a walk" I say trying to stay calm.

"Do you want to go grab some coffee it's on me" He asks me.

"Um.. Can we do it tomorrow i'm sorry I should head back home" I say.

"Yeah of course" He smiles.

"What's your number?" I ask him.

"123-4567" He says.

"Perfect I'll text you tomorrow when I can go and we can meet here."

"Sounds good" I smile at him and he walks away.

I grab my things and start the long journey back to the orphanage. I finally make it after a while and I walk inside and can't help but smile.

"What are you smiling about?" Jessica asks.

"Oh nothing" I giggle.

"Tell me" She says.

"Ugh fine this boy named Jackson asked me to go out for coffee with him tomorrow"

"OH MY GOD! That's wonderful!" Jessica says happily.

I smile and gather my things for a nice shower before bed. After my shower I head straight to bed and dream about what the date is going to be like.
