Here it goes. It's now or never.
I've finally decided and I know what life I want for myself. After a long and tricky ride, I finally realised what I want. And who I want. For the rest of my life.

I buy my ticket and go through all the procedures before I am finally able to get on the flight. I fall asleep throughout pretty much majority of the flight and I finally arrive to the airport. I call for an uber to drive me to a station which is how I can get to my destination.

I arrive to where I am supposed to go. I walk around until I see it. I slowly walk down the path and freeze for a moment as I am faced with the door. I knock and I await for it to open. I keep my eyes down at the floor until I see the door open and there he is. Strong built body. Familiar comforting face. The shielded arms that have held me through everything.
"Shay?" He says.

"Hi Rafe." I say trying hard to disguise my smile.
"What are you doing here?" He asks looking confused. I immediately wrap my arms around his shoulders and I feel his arms tensely wrap around my body. I pull away and I look into his eyes.
"It's you. It's always been you. And it's always going to be you." I tell him.
"I love you Rafe. And I don't care about whatever has happened in the past, I don't care how many bickers we get into. I would rather spent the rest of my life having messy with you than having anything with anyone else. You are all that I want. I'm just sorry it took me so long to figure it all out." I say as the tears start filling in my eyes. He stares at me in disbelief.

"Please say you want me too." I say. He looks away.
"Forever." He says looking back at me. I reach in the kiss him and he kisses me back.
The feeling of kissing Rafe is one that I will never ever recover from. I hold him tight again and he drags me inside. He picks me up and he puts me on the dining table. We kiss again but Rafe pulls away.
"Wait. I need to ask you something."
"What is it?" I say. I watch him and he gets down in his knee. Oh my god. He grabs my left hand in his.
"Listen. I know it's so soon and rushed but. I want you. And I never want anybody else. I never will. You are my entire life Shay and I am never letting you go again. So please promise me that one day in our future, you agree to share my last name with me and become my wife." I'm in complete shock. But I have never felt so sure or anything in my entire life.
"Yes." I nod.
"I will marry you." He reaches up and he kisses me again.

Our kiss starts to become more and more heated.
"Wait I need to shower first." I tell him.
"So let's go shower." He picks me up and he carries me to the bathroom. He turns the shower on and our lips quickly attach again. He starts ripping my shirt off of me and I pull his shirt off him. He kisses my down neck, and down my chest. He reaches down pulling my trousers off along with my underwear. He reaches down and attaches his mouth to where I ache for him. My hands mess with his hair before he turns me around so my face is against the wall. He pulls his trousers down before he pushes himself inside of me. We both moan out at the feeling.

It didn't feel like just sex with Rafe. It felt so much more. It was passionate, yet the act out of love. He has always been different to me.

"I need to tell Nathan i'm back." I tell Rafe as I am drying my hair with a towel and Rafe is sat on the bed.
"Yeah, good idea."
"I need to tell him everything that has happened too. With Noah and with us." Rafe nods.
"He doesn't approve of me does he?"
"He will. He will see how good you are for me and he will loosen up. I promise." I tell him and he smiles at me for a minute.
"There's something that I need to tell you." Rafe says with a serious expression.
"What is it?" I ask concerned. He takes a deep breath.
"You know the day of your mother's funeral?" He asks. I nod.
"I was there." He says. I stand.
"What?" I ask.

"I sat at the back row while you and Nathan delivered your speeches."
"And I went to the beach afterwards and I saw you sat on the ramp."
"Why didn't you come to me?" I ask.
"Because it was a shit day for you and I didn't want you to feel stressed about me being there so I wanted to keep my distance but pay my respects and still be there for you, even if I stayed away." He says.
"I'm sorry I didn't tell you." I nod.
"Can I tell you something?" I say. He nods.
"I knew." I reply. He frowns his brows at me.
"What?"
