Shubman's POV

"Get your ass up"
"Hmmm"
"GET.UP"
"5 more minutes,please..",I said,snuggling deeper into my soft bed.

"Okay,you brought this on yourself"
"Wh-"
I couldn't even finish the word,and before I could comprehend what was happening,I was already on the floor.

"Don't make that face,I already warned you"
"But didi.....",I whined.
My lovely elder sister and her lovely ways to wake me up in the morning,aka kicking my ass off the bed.

"Get ready and be downstairs within the next 10 minutes",She said in a threatening voice.
"Roger,ma'am",I said in a mock salute.She gave one last glance at me and was out of my room.

She is so fucking scary.Don't get me wrong,I love my Shahneel didi,but she's so fucking strict.But I'm here today,on the right track only because of her.

As the eldest child of my parents,my dad wanted Shahneel di to take over the CEO position,but her love for medicine was bigger than anything else.So,here she is now,one of the best neurosurgeons of the town.

I have been sitting on the floor for like 3 or 4 minutes now and zoning out,contemplating all the decisions I have made in the past.I sure made some fucked up choices lik-

"Honestly,MOOD",I snapped out of my thoughts at the voice of my little sister,Ava.She is just 15 but talks like a 25 year old lady.Kids these days....

"What?",I gave her an annoyed look.
"You sitting on the floor,contemplating life,that's a whole damn mood",She said flipping her hair.

"Girl,go to school",I deadpanned and she laughed out loud.
"What?",I barked,okay,I'm seriously getting annoyed now.
"You *laugh* said *laugh* girl *laugh*"
"Seriously,who tf says that?",She said,laughing some more.

"Why are you laughing?",my little brother,Rohan,asked.So,you see,Rohan and Ava are twins,both 15 year Olds.And you can imagine what it feels to live with two middle schoolers.

"Shubi said girl",Ava said,now laughing like a witch in heat.

"Shubi said wha- bahahaha"
"Ugh- no not you too,get out,GET OUT OF MY ROOM!",I said throwing the pillow at them.But the satans ran off before the pillow could hit them.

I slowly got up from the floor and went to the bathroom to do my morning business.

In the breakfast table~~

"Shub,you remember about today's lunch,right?,my dad asked.
"Huh?"
If bombastic side eyes was a person,it would have been my maa,because the look she is giving me now.
"Of course he can't remember.I would have been surprised if he remembered",Rohan said,immediately,to which Ava and dad burst out laughing.

"Don't you have a whole periodic table to learn.Go do that",I said glaring at him.
"Oh,I already did that",he said with a smug face.

"You can't even name all the alkali earth metals,shut up",I said stuffing my mouth with food.

"Hmm that I can't, but atleast I can keep a boyfriend longer than 2 weeks",he said smirking at me.

"That's it.I'm commiting a murder today",I said getting up from the chair.

"If you guys don't calm down right now,there's gonna be multiple murders in this house",maa said in a threatening voice making everyone shut up.

Dad laughed at this and she immediately sent a glare his way and his smile instantly dropped.Maa is truly scary when she is angry.

Dad cleared his throat and continued.
"You and I,we have a lunch with my old friend,today.And he is also bringing his son,who currently took over the CEO position in his company a few months ago".

"Ohhh,okay,dad.Don't worry,I will be there",I said getting up from the chair.
And "Yeah,yeah,I won't be late",I quickly added when I saw my maa opening her mouth to speak.

I kissed maa,Didi and Ava on cheeks,hugged dad and slapped Rohan behind his head.That's my way of saying bye to them before going to work.

Today is a sunny day and I'm feeling abso-fucking-lutely fire.
