You know that feeling you get when you know something is about to go wrong? Yeah, I've had that feeling in my stomach for the past thirty minutes.
"Dad?" I said as I still had my head in his lap.
"Yes?" I looked up at him.
"Should I trust Tony?" He sighed and moved to where he was sitting cross legged.
"Honestly, no. He lied to you twice in the span of a week. Jay, I, as your father, believe that you need to stay away from Tony right now. All he is doing is cause you pain both mentally, and sometimes physically." He said eyeballing my wrists. I stared at my hands until Mike walked through the door.
"Hey baby girl. How are you feeling?" He asked as he brushed the hair out of my face. I paused before answering the question, truthfully.
"Shitty." I said, honestly. He looked at me with sorrowful eyes and sat down next to Dad and I.
"You'll get better, I promise." Mike said before hugging the life out of me.
"Thanks Mike. I just wish he would think before he does." I shook my head. Both Dad and Mike looked at me with the same expression on their faces. Shock.
"Yeah." They said in unison.
"Jaime!" I yelled. He came running up the three stairs there was on the bus and fell right in front of me.
"What?"
"Make me rice?" I questioned. He nodded and went back towards the kitchen.
"Why do you want rice?" Mike asked me. I shrugged.
"Because rice with sugar, cinnamon, and butter is amazing." I laughed as Mike slowly nodded, still unsure.
"Hey Vi-"
"Out." Dad yelled at Tony as he walked into where we were sitting. Mike stood up when Tony didn't move.
"He said, get out." Mike scolded. Tony held his hands up in defense and slowly backed away from us.
"I'll go see what he wants." Dad said before standing up and walking away.
"Here." Jaime said as he handed me a hot bowl full of white rice with cinnamon, sugar, and butter on it.
"Thank you." I said before taking a bite. "Do you want to try it?" I asked Mike. He nodded and I fed him a spoonful of it.
"That's really good." I nodded in agreement and continued to eat, giving Mike bites every once in a while.
"So, I spoke to Tony." Dad said as he walked back in.
"And..?" Mike and I asked in unison.
"He said he wants to leave the band."
