Twenty

Time Jump: Ten Months~

"You did good, kid. Johnnie treats you right." Said Shawn. I haven't seen him in almost a year.

"He does, doesn't he." I said, admiring my sleeping boyfriend.

"Get some sleep." Shawn whispered before leaving with Connor. I nodded and fell instantly asleep.

"Wake up, Jay."

"Alex?!" I yelled, hitting my head on the ceiling. I turned to see Johnnie sitting there with a confused look on his face. Fucking great. Now I have to explain this to him.

"Alex?" He asked in pure confusion. I shook his hand off of my shoulder and jumped off of his bunk bed. 

"It doesn't matter." I mumbled. He grabbed my arms, tightly.

"Yes it does. Who is Alex?!" Johnnie asked, raising his voice. I cringed at his tone. 

"It doesn't matter!" I raised my voice before yanking out of his grip and running into the bathroom. 

I turned on the water and let it run 'till it was hot enough for my liking. I stripped down and showered.

I have to call Alex. 

No you don't.

Yes I do.

You still love Tony.

No I don't.

Tell Johnnie about Alex.

I can't!

"No!" I yelled out loud on accident.

"Jaycee? Are you okay?" Bryan's voice sounded outside the bathroom door. 

"I'm fine. Fuck off please." I'm going to have to call Dad.

I finished my shower, and I now I'm waiting for Dad to answer his damn phone.

"Hey, baby girl." It wasn't Dad, but Mike.

"Mike, I need to talk to Dad. Please."

"He's busy, at the moment. Just talk to me. I'll try to help you out as much as you can." I haven't talked to the guys in two months.

"It's about Alex."

"VIC YOUR DAUGHTER NEEDS YOUR HELP." Mike yelled. I laughed a little and shook my head as I heard a lot of background noise and then Dad mumbling 'give me my damn phone' before he answered.

"What is it baby? What happened?" His voice was soft and subtle. I knew he would flip out.

"Alex." I whispered.

"What did you do..." I know what he was doing at this moment. His head was in his right hand and he was shaking his head.

"Johnnie tried to wake me up, and instead of saying something else I yelled Alex's name."

Alex Gaskarth: My best friend before I left to go to the foster home. Also my boyfriend, but I had to break up with him. He's in a band with our other three best friends. Only Dad and Mike know what happened between us, and they only found out after they invited them to my birthday last year. Great, right? I fell in love with him and it fucking killed me that I had to leave him. I love him.

"You fucked up kid. Come over  here and we'll sort it out, okay?" I nodded, but then only realized that he couldn't see me so I mumbled an 'okay' then hung up.

"Care to explain who Alex is?" I heard Johnnie's voice behind me. I stuttered.

"Someone that still has my heart." I said as a tear slid down my face.

"Go get him, alright? I love you, Jaycee. I always will." He said, hugging me as I cried into his chest.

"Thank you." I mumbled into his chest.

"Stay in touch with me, alright? Tell me if he hurts you."
