A lot is going to happen in this chapter, so be prepared.

"Dad?" my voice boomed throughout the empty house.
"Your room!" He yelled back at me. Why was he in my room?
I walked up the stairs and towards the end of the hallway to come to a halt.
"Stay right here." Dad said quietly before closing my bedroom door and locking it. Okay?
Dad walked down the stairs as I swiftly pressed my ear against my door to see if there was any sound. There wasn't. So, I looked through the key hole. Yes, I have an old timey door knob.
I looked through it to see if I could see anything. I saw a pair of boots and some nice ass legs with skinny jeans on them. They boots looked familiar, though.
I heard Dad's footsteps and jumped away from my door quickly, landing on the floor in the process.
"Why are you on the floor?" He asked with an arched eyebrow.
"Legs got tired." He nodded slowly before getting the key out for my room. "Close your eyes." I did as told and shut my eyes, tightly. I heard the lock of my door and then the creek of it opening.
"Walk forward." Dad said. Before I knew it, I could feel my fuzzy carpet between my toes. I smiled a bit because I missed it here. "Stop." Dad commanded. I did as told, and stopped. I could feel a presence in front of me. "Move your hands, but do not open your eyes." I put my hands by my side.
"Can I open my eyes now?" I whined. I could hear someone sigh, I just didn't know who.
"Go ahead." I opened my eyes, ever so slightly to see someones chest.
I looked up to the person's face. You'll never believe who it was.
"Hey Jay." I engulfed him into a hug, and me being smaller than him my face was stuffed into his chest as I cried. So much crying today.
"I missed you Alex." I mumbled into his shirt as I continued to cry.
"I missed you, too baby."
~
"Why did you call him?" I asked dad as I remained wrapped up in Alex's arms.
"I figured you would want to see him." Dad shrugged.
"Where are the other guys?" I asked, taking Alex's hand sitting on my bed. Dad rolled his eyes and laughed.
"With our manager. They did some shit, and now they're getting hell for it." I giggled, not knowing what they could have done.
~
"Up. Get up." Mike said, pouring a bucket of ice water over me.
"What did I say about wAKING ME UP LIKE THAT!?" I screamed as I jumped out of my bed and chased him around the house. Down the stairs, outside, in the kitchen, back up the stairs. I think we even ran into Dad's room once.
"Mike, what did you do?! Why is Jaycee all wet?" Dad yelled at his younger brother.
"I woke her up."
"WITH ICE WATER!" I cut in. Dad glared at Mike.
"Go get her a towel before she freezes." Mike did as told and got me a warm towel out of the dryer.
"Thanks." I said before taking it and kicking him in the balls.
"HA! GOT EM!"
"SHUT THE FUCK UP JAIME."
"WHY IS EVERYONE YELLING?!"
"GO BACK TO BED TONY!"
"SHUT UP!"
"SHE KICKED ME IN THE BALLS!"
"I DON'T CARE, SHUT UP MIKE. TONY GO AWAY. JAIME GO MAKE FOOD. JAYCEE, TELL MIKE YOU'RE SORRY!"
"I'M SORRY THAT YOU'RE A PU$$Y MIKE!"
"JAYCEE!"
"I'M SORRY FOR KICKING YOU IN THE BALLS, MIKE. GAH!"
I ran back into my room and dried myself off.
"What was that about?" Alex asked. I jumped, forgetting he was still here.
"Mike dumped ice water on me, so i kicked him in the balls." His mouth formed an 'o' and then he laughed.
"Nice one."
"Thanks."
"Jaycee, I know it's been a while since you last saw me. And I know you might say no to this, but I've already asked Vic to see if it was okay. We dated for three years, Jaycee. I love you so fucking much and I just don't want to live without you. Don't hesitate to say no, because I understand. But-" He got down on one know. Holy shit, "Will you marry me?"
Do I want to? Can I?
Three of the happiest years of my life are because of him. How would I say no to the only person who has always told me the truth? He never cheated. He never lied. He supported my every damn move. I love him. And he loves me. How would I say no to him? I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I broke his heart again. Hell, I wouldn't be able to live without him. I've filled the void that was supposed to be him too many times. I can't do that anymore. I need him. Only him.
"Jaycee?" His voice snapped me out of thoughts. Was I ready to commit to him? Was I ready to get married?
"Yes." Apparently I am.
