Seventeen

I climbed into Johnnie's bunk after changing into some pjs I had brought for tonight.

"You look cute. With your pink hair and all." Johnnie smirked.

"Thanks." I blushed, climbing over him so I could get closer to the wall. I can't sleep unless I'm next to wall.

I shoved my headphones in before drifting off to sleep to only feel Johnnie snake his arms around my waist.

"Goodnight, Jay." he whispered before I dozed off to sleep.

"WAKE UP!" Bryan and Jordan yelled, blowing air horns. I fell off the bunk and into the floor for some reason. How did I even get to this side of the bunk?

"I'm going to kill both of you in your sleep." I muttered before walking into the bathroom and grabbing Johnnie and Bryan's hair straightener.

I straightened my newly pink hair and then quickly got dressed because Bryan was banging on the door. I pushed the door open to see Bryan standing there with his camera.

"And here we have Jay, in her natural habitat." I rolled my eyes.

"You're a dumbass. Go check out my channel! HeyImJay!" I put in the promo. I knew Bryan would annotate it, so I wasn't worried.

"You look dead." Johnnie said as I walked into the main area of the bus. "Tomorrow is our off day, want to see if your Dad will let you hang with us tonight and tomorrow?" He asked.

I pulled out my phone, knowing that Dad wouldn't be awake, but I called him anyways.

"Hello?" His groggy voice sounded through the phone.

"Up and at 'em, Dad. Y'all have a show today." I said, jumping around for no reason.

"Did you just say 'y'all'? You've definitely been hanging around Bryan." He laughed. "Alright, I'm up. What did you need Jay?"

"Johnnie and Bryan want to know if I can stay tonight and hang out with them tomorrow since it's their off day." I spoke quickly. I know he was contemplating it because he made that 'hm' sound he always makes.

"You're eighteen, you can make your own decisions. I trust you."

"Come onnnnn." I  said, dragging Johnnie and Bryan out of the bus so I could show Dad my hair. We got to the Unicorn Stage(a.k.a the main stage) and stood back stage, watching the band.

"Woohoo!!" Bryan and Johnnie yelled. Mike turned around to look at us and once he saw me, he smiled and nodded at my hair. I smiled back and waved.

"I love you!" Johnnie yelled towards the band. I laughed.

Once the performance was over, Dad ran over to hug me. "I love your hair!" He yelled over the screaming fans. I nodded and laughed.

"I love it, too!" We both laughed before Jaime, Tony, and Mike came over to hug me.

"We missed you last night!" All three of them yelled.

"Jay, we have to get back to the YouTubers tent." Bryan said before walking away with Johnnie.

"I missed you guys, too. But I have to get back to the YouTubers' tent. I love you." I said hugging each of them again and then walking away to catch up with Bryan and Johnnie.

*Vic's P.O.V*

"Is this how it's going to be from now on? Her not having any time for us anymore?" I asked my younger brother. He shrugged.

"She's growing up, Vic. You have to let her go someday." He replied.

"I haven't even had her for two years yet! I can't just let her go when I just got her!" I argued.

"She's eighteen. She's made friends, who she seems to really like. She's perusing her dream of being famous for different reasons than she already is. I know you love her, we all do. Some in different ways than others," He glance at Tony. "but she's an adult. She knows you love her, she will always know that you love her. You need to let her go a little bit. Give her a little bit more freedom." Mike finished his lecture before Alexis walked over.

"He's right, Vic."
