Thirteen

"Where's your mom?" Dad asked Alexis as we walked out of the store.

"Dead." Dad instantly stopped talking. Alexis shook her head and laughed. "It's alright, she's been dead for years."

"Oh. What about your dad?" Dad asked as we got to his car.

"He's in jail for homicide and robbery." Dad's eyes went wide as he unlocked the car door.

"He's in j-jail?" Dad stuttered. Alexis nodded and Dad's mouth formed an 'o'.

"Welp, this is fun. Dad let's go back to the bus. Come on Lexis." I said, climbing into the car with Alexis beside me.

"PUT ON YOUR WAR PAINT." Alexis screamed as Dad turned the radio on. "PUT ON YOUR WAR PAINT." Oh, I get it. Fall Out Boy is on.

"YOU KNOW TIME CRAWLS ON WHILE YOU'RE WAITING FOR THE SONG TO START, SO DANCE ALONE TO THE BEAT OF YOUR HEART." I sang.

"I'M GONNA CHANGE YOU, LIKE A REMIX."

"THEN I'LL RAISE YOU LIKE A-" I tried to sing before Dad interrupted me.

"PHOENIX." The car erupted with laughter as dad sang the last part of the line.

"Alright, alright. Alexis, what should the first video be? Just a normal introduction?" I asked as Alexis nodded. I agreed and turned on the camera as we got back to the bus.

Alexis set up a channel for me and I started to record the first video. By myself.

"Hey it's Jaycee! And I live with Pierce The Veil."

I rambled about everything as Alexis found a good video editor. I talked about everything that has happened and how I came to live with the guys.

"Well, that's all for now. I'll see you guys next Thursday!" I said, putting up a heart with my fingers. Alexis turned off the camera and took out the card. I looked over to the computer to see that I already had two thousand subscribers.

It took us two fucking hours to edit this video. Fun, right?

"I shared your channel!" All four of the guys yelled, running into the lounge area. I smiled and hugged them all. Yes, even Tony.

"Thanks." I said before Alexis yelled at me.

"It's up!"
