Recap: I hopped in his car and sat there waiting for his door to open. As he sat down he turned the radio up and pulled into the main street. We were off. After a while he turned the radio down and decided to make it small talk which I hate! Once we finally arrived at the book store a lady took us through to the back. It was beautiful. It has a small water fall and small little tables everywhere. I gasped. I saw Julian smirk but I ignored it. We took our seats and waited to be served.

The waitress came over and took our orders. I ordered a chia latte and a brownie and Julian ordered a coffee with chocolate piece of cake. This is now when things become real awkard.

"Umm... I'm really sorry for ditching you this morning" I blurted out. He smiled. "I'm sorry for the thing I did to offended you" he chuckled. To my surprise it wasn't really embarrassing. "Its ok" I said twirling the piece of hair in my hand. He gave me a smile. Should I tell him? No lets get to know him better.

"So Julian, tell me a bit about yourself"

He gave me a look raising one eye. "Why don't we just play 20 questions?" he asked smiling. I nodded and grinned like an idiot.

"Where are you from?" I asked

"Australia, Sydney, what about you? Have you lived here you whole life or have you moved around?"

"Actually I am also from Australia but I moved to Atlanta when I was 6 months . I go to Australia often to visit my grandparents and some old friends that I met a few years back. Ok you can ask the next question"

"Ok then let's see.." but before he could finish the lady came back and handed us our drinks and placed our delicious looking deserts on the table. "... Wow, it's hard of thinking of questions" I just laughed and started sipping on my drink. "Do you have a diary or journal of some kind?"

My smile disappeared and I placed my drink down and raised my head and then back down whilst taking a deep breath. "When I was 10 years old my mother encourage me on starting a journal and ever since then I kept a journal" I said putting on a fake smile.

Julian seemed to notice and of course he has to ask what was wrong. I had to tell him nothing was wrong so next was his question and it wasn't going to be easy.

After a few minutes I finally got to ask the question that I actually didn't really want an answer too. "Do you have a girlfriend?" I asked looking away so he couldn't see the blush making its way onto my face.

I heard him try and smother I laugh but when I turned back he was sitting there with his elbows on the table. "Don't worry Arrie, I don't have a girlfriend. I'm single" he said with a teasing tone. But if only if he knew that I was falling for him after a few afters of meeting him. And he called me Arrie. The only other nickname I've had is Bella.

"Hey! Who said I like you anyway?" I asked putting on my best acting skills. I guess those drama classes did pay off.

He just laughed. "What about you?" he asked becoming all serious.

I thought about it for a minute "Yeah my boyfriend is awesome. He is really great. Especially in bed" I said trying not to laugh.

I swear I saw Julian choke on his drink. He started to laugh but once it died down he looked a bit upset. Does that mean he likes me? Stop Arabella stop jumping to conclusions.

"I was just joking" I said bursting into laughter. That's when he got up and ran around the table so I got up too and ran. We ran around the garden for 10 minutes like idiots. Luckily the café was just about empty.
