Chapter 6 - Mystery Gift

The Next Day...

Moon Ga Young's POV:

All dressed in costume with my hair curled, wearing a pink cardigan, and wearing red lip tint, I walked onto the set which was a classroom filled with actresses dressed in similar costumes to mine.

The actors were still in their dressing rooms getting their make-up done to give them the look of flawless skin.

Just then, a glint of shiny ribbon caught my eye.

It was a beautifully wrapped gift sitting on my desk.

I picked it up and examined it and then frowned.

There was a note but it had no signature.

The note said:

I often watch you from afar,

You always look so pretty whether your hair is tied up or loose around your shoulders, with no makeup or with makeup

You have the warmest smile that makes me feel at ease

And you're always so caring, always looking out for others

I hope to be the one that treats you with care and love

Because that's what you deserve

I couldn't help but blush at the note. It was so sweet that I could feel my heart melting.

I looked around wondering who could have possibly sent it.

Just then I felt a hand tap my shoulder.

I turned around.

It was Park Yoona and Kang Minah.

"Moon Ga Young! How are you? Ooh, what's this?" Kang Minah asked curiously.

"Well... it seems like I've got a secret admirer," I explained.

Park Yoona's eyes lit up. "Really? That's so cute! Do you have any idea who it might be?" She inquired with curiosity.

I shook my head. "They didn't leave a signature," I replied.

I then opened the lid of the box.

Inside were some beautifully crafted chocolates.

I gasped. "These look gorgeous!" I exclaimed.

Park Yoona and Kang Minah giggled.

"Well whoever it is, they sure know you very well." Kang Minah said.

Park Yoona nodded in agreement.

Cha Eun Woo's POV:

Dressed in a staff member's jacket, wearing a white mask and black baseball cap I peeked into the classroom.

I could see Moon Ga Young holding the gift box and chatting happily with two other actresses.

I smiled.

"She got my gift!"

"I hope the note I wrote isn't too cheesy, I spent hours last night writing it." I thought to myself thinking of all the drafts I had written of the note that I had tossed in the waste paper bin.

I put my hands in my pocket and watched happily as Moon Ga Young took a chocolate from the box and popped it into her mouth.

Her eyes lit up as she enjoyed the sweet treat.

Just then, I felt something smooth like a type of fabric in my pocket.

I took it out of my pocket and examined it.

It was a small scrap of ribbon from Moon Ga Young's gift box.

"Oh crap, I need to remember to throw this away. I don't want to be found out before I know whether Moon Ga Young feels the same way." I thought to myself in a panic.

That's what I thought to myself before I was found out.
