Chapter 2 - Couldn't be more wrong

Moon Ga Young's POV:

The next day, my manager emailed me the details to the film studio where I would meet the staff and actors in person and do our first script reading. 

I read the email while drinking a cup of tea. I was to meet everyone at 9:30 in the morning at a film studio in Hongdae. I then scrolled down to read about the drama and everybody's roles.

"Ah okay, so Im Se Mi will be playing Hee Kyung (Supporting Role), Park Yoo-Na will be playing Kang Soojin (Main Role) and Cha Eun Woo..." I murmured to myself.

I then read the last line. My eyes widened at it then I turned to my side and spat out my tea in surprise. 

"Cha Eun Woo is the Male Lead? But that means... I'm going to have to act as a couple with him!" I exclaimed, flustered at the thought. 

Next Morning...

I woke up to the beeping of my alarm and quickly got out of bed and got ready for the day. 

"I hope this is okay... I didn't see anything about a dress code." I murmured to myself as I gazed at myself in the mirror before pushing a strand of hair behind my ear and heading downstairs to grab a quick bite to eat. 

2 hours later at the Film Studio...

I arrived at the studio and pushed open the door to see a meeting room with tables arranged in a circle with chairs and a TV installed onto the wall. Standing around were staff members who were setting up cameras plus directors, writers and actors and actresses who were socialising. 

I looked around for any familiar faces then spotted some actresses. I walked up to them and bowed. "Hello, my name is Moon Ga Young. It's a pleasure to meet the both of you." I greeted them.

They both smiled and bowed back. Both were dressed smartly in blazers and collared shirts like me. The actress with the long dark hair and coral lips held out her hand.

"Hello Moon Ga Young! It's a pleasure to meet you too, I'm Park Yoo-Na." She introduced herself.

I shook her hand before turning to the other actress with a short bob. She beamed at me before introducing herself. "I'm Kang Min Ah, it's a honour to meet you Moon Ga Young! I've seen you in a few dramas on TV, I love your work."

"Thank you Kang Min Ah, it's an honour to meet you too." I told her. 

Just then, I felt a hand tap my shoulder. I turned around to see the man himself: Cha Eun Woo. 

"Hello Noona! It's been a while, how have you been?" He said cheerfully with the cutest eye smile.

I stared shocked. The last time I had saw him he was a youthful-looking man. This man was muscular and was so handsome he was like a character out of a Webtoon. 

Quickly I snapped out of my trance and laughed it off. "Oh sorry, I didn't sleep well last night... I must have zoned out. I've been good, how have you been Eun Woo?" I asked cheerfully.

He laughed in reply showing off his perfectly whitened teeth. "No worries! And I've been good too, I'm pleased to see you again." He replied. 

Suddenly, we turned around to hear an older man clear his throat. He stood at the end of the tables in front of the TV. 

"Hello everyone, I am Kim Sang Hyub the director TVN's newest Korean Drama True Beauty! Let us all sit down and begin the script reading shall we? Oh and by the way as you may have seen while you all have been coming in, cameras have been set up as we'd like to record the session as additional promotion for the drama." He explained.

Park Yoo-Na and Kang Min Ah began to walk to their seats. I followed them before turning around to smile at Cha Eun Woo who waved before taking seat at a table opposite. 

I sat down and couldn't help but smile as I opened up my script. "How did my former classmate from University grow up into such a handsome man?" I thought to myself.
