Garden of Orchids

The sun has set once more on the love I once knew

This time for eternity

The rose garden is dead but a new garden has bloomed

A garden of orchids

There's beauty in the unexpected

My heart has grown cold

I was sure that my garden would grow bleak and barren

I was sure that the feeling of love would forever be dead

But this life wasn't meant to be so dismal

I watched as rows of orchids formed all around me

The wind softly singing a song

"I'm here for you" she sang "I always will be"

Peace took over, I could now rest

I lay, gracing the bright bed of glory beneath me

A garden of love and light
