Passing from the hold of a soul numbing winter
I welcome in the the warm feeling of love brought in with the Spring season
I never want to leave her embrace
There is nothing for me outside of her
I truly don't deserve the kind of love she shows me
Before we came together, the words of someone so wise, so inspirational,
left a dagger in my heart
The kind of words that almost stopped me from confessing my love
They read, "I wanna dream I wanna love, but something's holding me back"
Fear being the bondage that held me in such a dark place
But she reassures me that there is nothing to worry about
She finds herself in my dreams, even when I am awake
Not a day goes by that I don't think about you, my love
My whole life I've always been fascinated by the stars in the sky,
accompanied by the moon
I often just sit at my window and stare
I get the same feeling when I'm looking at her
A sea of stars, glistening in her eyes that I can't ever seem
to stop looking into
Ask me of the woman who gives me life, gives me purpose,
holds my soul with such grace,
And her name will come up every time
I empty my soul into these poems that I write about her
I mean every word
I may be unsure of what lies ahead of us,
but it doesn't matter to me
For the first time in my life I am perfectly content living in the now
The world around me disappears, and it's just you and I
I have no desire to look around me, for another soul who
may quench mine
For it is not possible, not without you
Only you can hold my soul captive
I promise you, I am not going anywhere
There is no love greater than yours
Please take my hand and lead me to where you and I can lie together
and just be
Let everything that troubles you fade away
Look at me sweetheart
There is nothing I wouldn't do for you
There is nothing I wouldn't do to make you happy
My dreams are finally coming to pass because I have you
I am forever in your debt
