Branch physically couldn't sing when he turned grey.

It was painful for him to even try.

It hurt his throat, his head, it hurt everything!

So when he sang to Poppy to cheer her up, he was in excruciating pain the entire time.

It's gotten better since he gained his colour, but it still hurts.
