The bergens had come close to the village without anyone knowing, wanting to surprise the trolls like the trolls surprise them.

They were in the middle of the village when Branch had froze at the footsteps.

Everyone looked at him knowingly as he dropped down and dug his way 8 feet under in 20 seconds.

His brothers panicked and tried to unbury him when Cooper walked over and shook his head, "Branch will be fine. He does this when he gets panicked or if he's having a flashback."
