The first time Branch cried since his Grandma died, he was confused and concerned.

He thought he was dying.

So he freaked out more and left his bunker, he ran through the village ignoring worried shouts and bee lined to Creek's house.

Creek was the person he trusted the most, his big brother figure.

So he got there quick and knocked on the door, bouncing on his toes anxiously.

When the door opened Creek quickly became concerned.

"Branch? Why are you crying?"

And Branch is even more confused.

"Cry...ing..? What's that..?"

Now Creek is devastated.

He never knew how bad Branch had it until he ran to his home in a panic, not knowing what crying was.

So he let him in and explained everything.
