"Do you ever stop snoring?" You whined playfully. It didn't bother you that he snored.

"What? I don't snore! You snore!" He snapped back, burying his face in your fluffy pillows that smelled like you.

He didn't enjoy sleeping, for him it was usually a chore, a requirement set by his body. He only slept because he knew that sleep deprivation could be a weakness if he was caught in the wrong situation. He usually slept 3-5 hours max, more than that he couldn't. Yet when he slept next to you, amongst the hundreds of pillows and stuffed animals on your bed, he could sleep for days. He felt safe next to you, he knew he didn't have to be on high alert.

"Wake up! There's so much to do today!" You cheerfully declared, rummaging through your closet, searching for an outfit that would fit well with today's activities.

"Mmmm," Feitan mumbled.

"Come on, you said you wanted to be with me all weekend! You can't do that spending the whole day sleeping!" You sighed at the pile of laundry in the corner. You loathed folding clothes.

"Do we have to?" He sat up, running his fingers through his dark hair.

"Yes, I promised I'd get this done this week."

Feitan loved that about you, how you always kept your word, no matter how ridiculous the promise was or how inconvenient it was. He never understood why regular people loved making promises, or why it was so important to keep them, but he knew that you would never let someone down.

After a breakfast of pancakes and bacon, a trip to the florist, and then the dry cleaners, you finally found yourself at the most important task of the day. You were being fitted for your maid of honor dress, and Hina had picked the most gorgeous shade of blue.

"The one thing you can trust her with is her sense of fashion." You stared at yourself in the mirror. The dress sat just below your ankle, with a slit on the side. It was a cowl-neck that hugged your chest in a flattering way and was made of soft silk. Hina had a way of knowing exactly what color, cut, and fabric would look the best on anyone.

Feitan sat with his arms crossed on a seat behind you. He hadn't realized he was gawking.

"What? Is it too much? I think I like it" You turned around to ask him, then returned to your reflection in the mirror, running your hands down your waist.

"I don't think...I've never seen you look more beautiful..." He gripped your waist with his hands, sliding them down your back. He softly placed a kiss on your neck, and you softly gasped.

"I have to take this off before I ruin it, Hina will kill me if I do."

"I'd like to see her try" He whispered, running his hand down your back

"Well, what do we think?" The lady from the dress shop walked in, and Feitan stepped back returning to his corner.

"It fits perfectly!" You replied.

"Great, looks like the alterations are perfect. We wouldn't have time to make more anyway so you're lucky."

"Yes, you're right. I'll take it just like that."

You took a second to glance back at the scowling man behind you, slightly irritated that you had been interrupted by the lady. He inspected you carefully, his expression returning to his normal impassive one.

Letting the heavy door close behind you, you rushed to hang your dress outside your closet. There was something about the texture of the dress that you were drawn to. It was smooth, yet strong, maybe you felt yourself reflected in it. It almost felt unreal, how fast Hina had moved her wedding along. You quickly undid the strap on the heels you were wearing and dug through an endless pile of folded laundry to find something more comfortable.
