The New Years Festival here in Megapolis. The streets are crowded, people are dressed up, the food smells wonderful, everyone couldn't be more excited!
Well, almost everyone.
Down below in the sewers, in the Silken Web Cave. Spider Queen growled quietly in irritation as she heard the celebrations going on in the city above.
"Yes, Yes, Keep laughing, just wait till you see what I've got cooking, then you'll have something to celebrate." She seethed.
She clutched the stand of hair in her hand as the cauldron of venom bubbled next to her. "Only one left, this little piece of that monkie kid holds all the power I need." She smirked evilly then turns towards someone behind her with a frustrated scowl.
A scientist worked in front of a large computer, tinkering with spider-like machines that had an empty capsule on the back for the venom.
"Dr Syntax, you finished tinkering yet?"
The scientist glances at the queen with an unimpressed look. "I have constructed what you asked for, the delivery systems are operational." He informed as he turned his gaze back to the computer typing away. "So long as that venom works this time." he jeered with a mocking tone, making the Spider Queen move to loom over him, casting him completely in her shadow as he shivered in fear.
"The venom will. Work." She snarled at him, making him nod as she turned away and looked at the hair in her hand, walking back to the cauldron before dropping it in. As she dropped it in, the venom sparked with green energy, turning a brighter green as a metal spider with a capsule on the back dropped from the ceiling.
The robot took its first steps before it suddenly sparking and exploded. "No, No!" She shouted, turning to the scientist, hissing as she approaches him. "I am the Queen, I was meant to rule this world, not hide beneath it!" She yelled lifting her leg and came towards the scientist, who closes his eyes and wait for the pain, but nothing happened.
He opens his eyes to see the leg a few inches away from his face and stared at the queen nervously. "It...It can't be over." The queen whimpered defeatedly, putting her leg down as she looked at the ground, closing her eyes.
"It doesn't have to be..."
The queen subtly flinched as she turns her head side to side. "W-Who said that? Show yourself!" She demanded then she turns around to see a shadowy silhouette with a glowing skeleton face as whispers echoed across the cavern.
The silhouette soon vanishes and pair of glowing icy blue eyes appeared from the darkness. "My apologies, I just..." a little girl came out of the shadows wearing an enigmatic smile. "Thought I might be of service."
The little girl's hair was black, with the top layer rolled up around a jade green bun holder that curved up into sharp tips on its ends. She wore blue eye shadow and dressed in a qixiong ruqun with a standing collar. The ruqun consisted of a white top that secured the right blue trimmed lapel using two blue bone-shaped buttons, and a long, flowing black skirt.
"Service huh?" Spider Queen scoffed and stares at the newcomer with a distrusting glare. "Who are you?"
"Why I am merely someone who thinks that you have been away from her throne for far too long." The girl started, "I believe that once you rise, a thing even a celestial being has been unable to accomplish."
The Spider Queen now looked at her curiously, keeping her suspicions up as she didn't trust a random human looking child. "The destruction of The Monkey King."
The Spider Queen looks at her apprehensively then she grits her teeth in anger and aims her leg towards her then stops only mere centimeters away from the girl, who didn't even flinch.
"Well don't you have a sweet way of talking. That wretched Monkey tore me from my throne, took EVERYTHING I had! What makes you think it'll be so easy?" Spider Queen asked as the little girl looked up at Spider Queen unfazed.
"I thought we could use...this." She opens her hands and the Spider Queen pulled back to see a vial with a skull on top.
Spider Queen inspected the vial curiously, "My, my, my...I haven't seen one of these for a while."
The girl turned her attention to the cauldron of failed venom. "May I?" She asked.
The Queen giving her a final glare before putting her leg down and gesturing for the girl to go ahead. The girl approached the pot, uncapping the bottle, and allowing a strange blue mist to sink and mix with the green bubbling substance, it swirls around dangerously, turning into a neon blue.
One of the spider drones fell from it's pod on the ceiling, landing in front of the queen as it sparked then stopped, looking up at her as it's red eyes adjusted and focused on her. "Well well well, it seems we have a winner," she grinned, turning her attention to Dr Syntax who backed away looking terrified. "Let's give it a test run."
"Wait, no! I helped you!" he begged as the Spider Queen laughed, watching he spider mech followed the queen's gaze, red lens narrowing at its target, slowly approaching Syntax.
"You need me!" Syntax cried. He screamed as the mech attacked him, knocking him back, and falling behind the machinery, he shrieked, choking in pain as the spider embedded itself into his body, breaking multiple bones.

Soon Syntax stood back up his jet black hair was now neon green, his skin purple as four spider legs poked out behind him, he stood before the Spider Queen and kneels before her. "My Queen."
Spider Queen grinned wickedly as she watched and saw the transformation finish before turning her attention back to the girl. "Alright little miss mystery, what's the catch?" She asked.
"I simply wish to see you fulfill your destiny, My Queen." the girl then kneels down. Spider Queen grinning as she looked up, seeing more spider drones drop with the working venom.
"Well alright then." She laughed maniacally, two more spider demons dropped down to join her and her new army of drones.
