Waking up with a groan, Red Son looked around from where he'd been slammed into the pillar, noting that Mei was nowhere to be found, he saw MK sobbing, and fire demon immediately realized what happened. Fighting the pain, the fire user walked over and sat down next to his love, gently rubbing her back, "He took her, didn't he?..."
All he got in return was a silent nod.
He sighed. "So what's the plan?"
MK sighed, her head hung low so her eyes shadowed. "I..I got nothing." Red Son looked at her as if she grew a second head.
He scoffed, "You can't possibly be thinking of giving up already?"
"What else can I do, I can barely move, Mei's gone and so is Monkey King. Let's just faced it," She placed her face in her hands. "No matter what I do I mess everything up."
Red Son was quiet for a moment before he snarled. He couldn't take much more of this any longer.

"Don't you dare lower yourself like that, Noodle Girl!" He smashed his fist into the ground, startling the mortal. "When has loosing ever stopped someone like you? You defeated my father, twice! You've taken down that wretched Spider Queen, and have conquered many other hurdles that no normal person could!" He huffed. "You have no right to say you aren't worthy of being who you are!"
"But I--"

"SHUT UP!" He grabbed her by her shoulders, shaking her slightly. "You are without a doubt the most annoying person I know, but you're so much more. You're determined, Strong, Levelheaded, most heroic, most wonderful woman I've ever known. You don't give up and you never let that stop you now, and that is why I love you! So stop with the moping and tell me what's our next move?!" He yelled, panting as he was catching his breath.
MK stood there in silence, trying to take in on what he just said, finally speaking. "Y-You love me?" She asked, her eyes were sparkling, her face was tinted pink.
Red Son stood there shock, instinctively covering his mouth. He couldn't believe he just said that. I mean he wanted to say it but at the right moment!
"I-I-I Uhh...I- Uh-" He stuttered, his face was the same color as his fair as it was blazing.
Before he can say anything, MK suddenly sweeps him off his feet and kisses all over his exposed face, leaving him in a tittering mess.
"You're right, As long as we're still standing, there's always hope," She grinned as she lets go of Red Son, who's fumbling around with kiss marks all over his face. "Mei is more stubborn than anyone I know. Between that and your training, she's not going to give up the Samadhi Fire without a fight. I got an idea so insane it might work, are you with me?"
The blushing demon just spoke gibberish as he was still in his lovesick daze.
MK smiled but sweatdropped. "I'll...take that as a yes." She grab his wrist and toss the redhead off the balcony, turning into a hawk, grabbing the fire user and flying off in the direction of where the rest of the gang was waiting for them.

After filling the others in on the situation, moral seemed pretty low within the group, Pigsy heaved a sigh. "I'm not going to lie, kid. I mean, if the Lady Bone Demon has Monkey King, Mei, and the Samadhi Fire, I don't know. I'm not really feeling much confidence here."
"Pssh yeah, that's why we're gonna formulate a plan! I'm open to suggestions, what have we got?" MK asked looking at the group.
"Uh...die with dignity?" Tang asked shrugging his shoulders.
"WHAT THE HELL KIND OF PLAN IS THAT?!" Pigsy shouted making the other's flinch.
"I don't know! It's just...aren't we back where we were when Mei and Monkey King flew off into the sky?" Tang shot back.
"What? No! It's nothing like that," MK stood with her hands on her hips, "Cause now we got a Red Son!" She gestured at the red-haired demon leaning against the wall. "We never had a Red Son before!"
"Oh yeah, he's a real game changer." Pigsy said sarcastically with Tang agreeing.
"Hey!!" Red Son cried out looking offended.
"We're just doing the same thing over and over again! I'm losing my mind over here!" Suddenly, the shadows behind Red Son began to warp and change, white eyes shining.
"I hope I'm not interrupting anything," Red Son was startled and making him dart away from the pillar.
"Father You're back!" Savage and Rumble exclaimed happily as their father was back.
"Macaque? where have you been?" MK asked.
"Sorry I'm late everyone but...I happen to have a certain someone that might be of use to us." Macaque reached into the darkness, and threw out none other than the 'Mayor', looking quite beat up.
