Monkey King and the Lady Bone Demon fought clashing together in gold and blue, LBD launched an ice towards the copper simian who easily smashed it, the two grunted as LBD flew away before raising her hands to create a barrier with seals around it but Monkey King easily broke through it.
They continued to fight until the Mayor appears from behind Monkey King. "Might I have this dance, your majesty?" The Mayor asked laughing and launching an attack. Meanwhile, Nezha and MK arrive a safe distance away from the battle scene.
"So, this is the power of the Lady Bone Demon. I'd heard tales, but I've never experienced it first hand. Even from here, I can feel her wretched aura." Nezha said shivering slightly.
"Yeah, me too..." MK agreed, hugging herself.
"I fear Monkey King was right. The Samadhi Fire's the best chance we have at stopping her. The fool never should've taken off on his own,"
He gripped his staff, ready to fight. "Let's make this quick. Get in, get Monkey King, and regroup with the others.
MK stopped him before he took off. "Wait! What if... what if Monkey King is better off without us? What if we just get in his way?" She looked down in sadness.
The lotus prince took her chin making her look up. "Xiaotian, I've known him for a long time. He is not the loner he pretends to be. He seems important to you, so I can only assume you're equally as important to him. If there's anyone who he needs right now, it's you." He smiled at her reassuringly.
Sighing, the teen took deep breaths, "Get in, get Monkey King, get out?"
"That's right!" Nezha said with a nod before the two proceed forward. Meanwhile, the fight continues. Monkey King blocks another kick from the Mayor as he spun around in the air before landing and throwing punches to which Monkey King dodges them with speed until he was front kicked towards the ground and was face to face of a blue little ice ball. He managed to duck from the giant shard of ice in time before trying to punch the Lady Bone Demon but she teleported away above him, a seal barrier appeared as ice shards were fired towards the copper simian who dodges them all and tries to punch her again when he was in a chockehold by the Mayor.
"Your attempts are futile, Sun Wukong. I have seen what the future has for you, your loved ones, and your protégé! Destiny cannot-"
"--be undone!" Monkey King interrupts her, "So you keep saying! But what about this guy?! Is he in your future?!" Monkey King said escaping the Mayor's hold and delivering a powerful strike with his fist, sending him flying down to the earth.
LBD was stunned for a moment before looking unfazed. "As a matter of fact...no."
Monkey King began charging towards her again, MK and Nezha landed landed as the two looked up close to the mech as they could see sparks of gold and blue, she heard the sound of groaning and she turns to see the Mayor in a hole looking beaten up. "Hey, that's the guy who's definitely probably not actually a real mayor."
Nezha looked up, gasped as a shard was heading their way. "Get down!" Nezha yelled and the two ducked in time as a giant ice shard narrowly missed them.
"He has the Lady Bone Demon on the defense." Nezha said looking up. MK looked at the lotus prince surprised.
"Wait, you can see what's going on?" MK asked looking up at the fight.
"Yes. Well, pieces of it. That... speed. Sun Wukong really was pulling his punches with me." Nezha said, gripping his staff in annoyance.
MK rolled her eyes, getting impatient by their little rivalry. "Yeah, yeah, that's great. But is he winning? Maybe we don't need to stop him after all."
"It would appear so, but..." Nezha paused and look up, MK looking up as well with wide eyes.
LBD struggled to keep fighting with Monkey King as she blocks every attack with her ice that ended up getting smashed through by the copper simian until she was kicked away. She grits her teeth as she glares at him while holding her side, blue cracks emitted from her face."This body...it's too weak! I can't stop him!" She muttered before gasping as she saw Monkey King charging to her again.
She lifted her hands forming a giant ice dome with sharp points, but it was useless as Monkey King punches through it with his leg raised, LBD tried to block it only to end up getting thrown towards her mech, before she knew it, she was pinned against the ice wall with her neck being held by Monkey King.
Slamming the Lady Bone Demon back into a wall on top of the Bone Mech, Monkey King's red eyes bore holes into the fearful woman, "STOP! Have you forgotten?! Destroy me and destroy the host! Have you become so desperate to end me that you would sacrifice your innocent little child, Bàba?~"
Monkey King's eyes widened before he gritted his teeth in anger, how dare she use Bai-He against him. "I don't wanna hurt my kid, but you're giving me no choice! All the time you spent locked away and you haven't changed one bit! I'm going to finish you like I should have done a long time ago!" The ginger's grip tightened around the dark haired woman's neck, cutting off her airflow. "I told you, you should've stayed buried!"
"I've come to far to let you ruin everything again!" The ice demoness shrieked. Her hands flew outward with a rush of cold air. At this, thousands of spirits that the demoness had trapped over the thousands of years slammed into the back of the Monkey King, the simian screaming out in pain, forced to release his enemy as a fight over control of his body began, it becoming harder the more spirits that flooded his form, until finally...
He was completely corrupted by her power.
MK and Nezha could only watch in horror as Sun Wukong was turned into a slave of the creature before them, her cruel laugh echoing throughout the icy valley below, Sun Wukong's once golden eyes opening to show a matching merciless blue now flooding them.
"Monkey King, No..." MK shakily breathed out in horror.
