"For as long as time itself. I've had this recurring dream...."

The Lady Bone Demon in her true form, standing on top of it. The mech swings down a blade, piercing it into the middle of the city, destroying the earth.

"At first the meaning was...unclear. But now It's meaning was a premonition. The very moment where I finally achieved my ambition to perfect this imperfect world."

At the top of the mech, the Lady Bone Demon was there and kneeling beside her was the Mayor. "The Samadhi Fire is the final piece of the game, A tool destiny has gifted me to complete my work."

"Then allow me to retrieve it for you My Lady~" The Mayor spoke up eagerly.

"No need," The Bone Spirit hummed in satisfaction. "Fate, will deliver it in time."

Crashing down to the ground was Monkey King himself, wearing his armor from the past. His once golden eyes was now a burning red...displaying little emotion.

"Ah, your timing couldn't be more perfect Sun Wukong," Monkey King just glared at her. "It seems your quest to use the Samadhi Fire to destroy me, hasn't quite gone according to plan," She mocked him. "Why else would you show up unarmed with no one for backup."

Monkey King growls. "I didn't need the Samadhi Fire to put you away last time, figured I could make do without it!" Wukong said glaring daggers at the bone demon.

"Oh, my power has far surpassed what it was when we last met in battle, even now I sense you do not have what it takes to defeat me."

"That ain't gonna stop me from trying." The ginger snapped, his tail was lashing about angrily.

"A hero till the end, how delightful." the Mayor said, with a hint of venom in his voice.

The Lady Bone Demon started to laugh. "So then your plan is to...fistfight a child?~" The White Bone Spirit cooed in jest.

"We both know that's not what you are."

In Red Son's training temple, In a jungle far away, Mei wears a teal sleeveless robe with gold lining, a red belt, black pants, and white bandages wrapped around her wrists and ankles as she meditates under a temple.

A spear came flying towards her and quickly dodges it. As more came she dodged faster maroon fire danced under her feet, more spears trapped her in a makeshift cage.

"NO! The Samadhi Fire will not control me! Breathe." Mei grunted as she took a deep breath both her hands hovering over her chest, she opened her eyes as they glowed white as she stops more spears mid air, the spears began to melt and when she clasped her hands together, she pushed the spears back with the force of the fire.

"Not bad, dragon girl." Red Son jumped down from the roof, his trench coat was gone so he wore a black sleeveless turtleneck. "But not great either." He pulled one of the half-melted spears out of the pillar. "Do you know how hard it is to source authentic 7th Century Mo Dao? This about that next time you lose your--OOF!" A part of the roof fell onto the demon's head and he falls over.

About an hour later the duo sat in the temple, Mei was happily chowing down an entire basket of fruit. "All this training sure makes me hungy. You sure you don't want any?" Mei asked holding out a peeled orange to the fire demon who was holding an ice pack over his sore head. "I'm fine, thank you."

"You're still annoyed with me? Yeah, I moved on from that like immediately." she said with a shrug taking a bite from an orange.

"Yes, that's because you're not the one with the shiner." The red-haired demon shot back.

"Well, you shouldn't have tricked me into your stab shack of "meditation" or whatever." Mei snorted, emphasizing her fingers.

"You are seriously the most second annoying person I know!" Red Son yelled, knocking the fruit out of her hands. "That meditation" is important if you even stand a chance at defeating the Lady Bone Demon," Red Son explained as he walked towards the balcony. "Luckily for you, you're a quick learner, if you weren't the whole universe would be burnt to nothing by now." he explained, side glancing at the dragon girl.

"How come?" Mei asked, with a stuffed mouth.

"The Samadhi Fire is more than just an inextinguishable flame, it's a destructive weapon that can burn through the very fabric of reality." Red explained turning around.

"You mean...If I lost my cool during any of the training exercises I could've destroyed the entire universe!?" Mei exclaimed in shock.

"Yes, that could have happened, but it didn't. My guess is that somehow your dragon ancestry has protected you and if you're strong enough to contain the Samadhi Fire, you're strong enough to use it." Red Son concluded.

Mei looked at her hands in wonder, she sets the fruit bowl down. "Yeah but, how is meditating going to help again?" Mei asked raising an eyebrow.

"Meditation teaches us calm, focus, how to harmonize the wild energy and emotions burning within us," He explains as fire flickered out of his hands as he twirled it. "So we can use it TO SMITE OUR ENEMIES AND DESTROY ALL THOSE WHO TRY TO STOP US!" Red Son cackled and lets out a burst of fire through his palms.

Mei stares in awe, getting excited. "Yeah, yeah, I wanna learn that! Teach me, O' wise master."

Red Son cleared his throat as he calmed down. "The Samadhi Fire is the ultimate wildfire. It cannot be controlled nor will it control you if you stop trying to fight it and learn to use it. All you need to do is stay calm and focused. So no more angry outbursts!" Red Son said pointing at Mei.

Mei scoffed, swinging her legs a bit. "Pfft! That's rich coming from you," Mei said remembering the many outbursts from the fire demon. "Like with the Great Wall Race," she listed.

"I was winning! You all cheated."

"And at the Weather Station,"

"So what? It was a very good plan!"

"Aaand, not to mention what happened at the beach and during that Cook-Off competition,"

"I MADE THOSE F***ng PEASANTS PAY FOR ASSAULTING HER!" Red Son raged, his face turned a shade of red from anger. He soon calmed down from embarrassed and recomposing himself. "Just Do as I say, not as I do."

Mei let out a relaxed sigh as she merely laid down the stairs. "Ah, well if there is anywhere a gal can find home, it's right here. This place is perfect."

Red Son sat down on the stairs next to her. "For now, it's probably one of the few places left that the Lady Bone Demon putridity hasn't reached."

"But...what if I fail everyone? What if I lose control?" Mei asked looking down at her hands.

Red Son glanced at her, remembering what the Samadhi Fire was like, not even he could control it, he sighs as he placed a comforting hand on the dragon girl's shoulder. "Listen to me, My parents have succumbed to the Lady Bone Demon's power, just like countless others. You and the Noodle Girl will stop at nothing to free them. That's how I know you won't lose control. You can't because you're the only hope I—" He paused as he reconsidered his words, "The only hope this world has left." Red Son said smiling, his cheeks suddenly tinted pink at her sudden laughter.

"Wha-What are you laughing about!?" He asked angrily, his hair flamed up. Mei wiped some tears, still laughing.

"MK was right, you are such a sweetheart!~" She cooed, pinching his cheek. The Bull prince growled before slapping her hand away.

"I've changed my mind. You are the most annoying person I know." He mumbled before standing up and headed back inside the temple.
