Felix
Yesterday - Morning of the party

Felix sits at the table with his bowl of cereal in front of him. He sits with his thoughts as his hand fiddles with the spoon. A smile then appears on his face when he thinks about Y/n. How she asked him to be his date for the event. But little did she know that he was going to be there already. He didn't want to tell her because he wanted to surprise her.

Ms. Lee then walks into the room. "What got you smiling like that?" She asks her son.

Felix moves his attention to his mom. "Just excited for this party."

Ms. Lee chuckles. "Excited for the party or finally getting to see Y/n again. I mean this is going to be your first time seeing her again after all these years."

Felix shifts in his chair. "Yeah. I'm excited for that as well." A noticeable change can be heard in his tone.

Okay so some details are missing but Felix couldn't tell his mom that he has met and is now friends with Y/n even though he was told specifically to not be in contact with her until this specific event.

Ms. Lee notices his movements. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah." Felix nods. "I just- I'm nervous."

"It's alright to be nervous. I mean this is new and different for you to be soon engaged to someone you haven't seen since you were kids but you've been meeting with your Uncle Kim and it sounds like everything is going well." Ms. Lee explains.

"You're right." Felix says. "I just hope everything goes well."

Ms. Lee smiles. "And it will." She rests her hand on his shoulder for reassurance then went off to work.

Felix stays in his seat. His thoughts take over again. He remembers the day he first saw her.

"Mom! Mom!" A 10-year-old Felix excitedly runs down hall. He jumps on the couch, climbing over the back to look at his mom collecting papers.

"Yes honey." She answers, still collecting papers.

"Today's the day. Today we get to go to grandpa's colony." He exclaims. "It's 'company' Felix honey." His mom correct him, snickering at her son's word of choice.

"Grandpa's company." Young Felix repeats.

"Did you pack your bag dear?" Ms. Lee asks.

Felix nods. "I packed my favorite toys and snacks."

"Good job." She smiles. She starts to close up her bag and makes her way to the couch where Felix is still leaning on.

"Why do I need to bring my toys mom?" Felix asks. He stops leaning and sits down.

Ms. Lee looks at her son, sitting next to him. "Your grandfather's business partner is visiting and he's bringing someone your age." She says.

Felix's expression brightens. "A new friend?" He exclaims.

Ms. Lee chuckles, "Yes, a new friend." She stands up. "Now let's put on our shoes and don't forget your jacket. Grandpa is expecting us in fifteen minutes."

"Okay mom." Felix smiles.

"Grandpa!" The young Felix excitedly says, running up to the older man with open arms.

"Felix." Senior Lee says with the same energy as he embraces his grandson in a big hug. "How's my little man doing?"
